Get ready for Punxsutawney Phil – his 2011 Groundhog Day prediction is due tomorrow! (Unless, of course, Pennsylvania is overwhelmed by the “epic blizzard” due to arrive sometime tomorrow.)

I certainly hope this fun event takes place tomorrow. Some folks find it plain stupid. I find it fun and stupid. :)

Yep, at least 6 more weeks of winter. It’s already blizzard-like conditions here after 2 hours of snowing.
Besides why the announcer doesn’t know how to pronounce this month, the real question I want Phil to answer is: “How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?”

If the woodchuck wanted to chuck wood, besides being able to, I’d say he could chuck 1 to 2 cubic feet per minute, based on the amount of dirt a really motivated woodchuck can move.
