Stanek Sunday quote: “It takes three to make a baby: a man, a woman and the Holy Spirit.” ~ Rev. Jesse Jackson, 1977
[O]nly once in a while do the egg and sperm bring about fertilization. Some call that connection accidental, but I choose to call it providential. It takes three to make a baby: a man, a woman and the Holy Spirit….
Human beings cannot give or create life by themselves, it is really a gift from God. Therefore, one does not have the right to take away (through abortion) that which he does not have the ability to give….
What happens to the mind of a person, and the moral fabric of a nation, that accepts the aborting of the life of a baby without a pang of conscience? What kind of a person, and what kind of a society will we have 20 years hence if life can be taken so casually?
~ Reverend Jesse Jackson, when pro-life in 1977, National Right to Life News op-ed

One correction Jesse. Apparently it escaped your attention where it only took one woman and Holy Spirit to make a baby, but that was a one time of event that could have easily escaped your vapidity.
Oh JJ,
‘Jesse, come home there’s a hole in the bed where you slept.’
Politics do make strange bed fellows and make bed fellows strange even estranged.
JJ’s sentiments are true. They would be no less true if he actually believed them.
But his words, though true, are as empty as the suit he wears……….when his pants aren’t on the ground.
JJ,
You gotta a whole lot a splainin to do and the one demanding the answer ain’t gonna take any of yor jive mumbo jumbo, specially that part where you offered to perform a free castrectomy on yor bro b o.
Jesse sold his birthright for a bowl of lentil soup when he wanted to be president. As Jesus said, “What does it profit a man if he gain the whole world, but lose his own soul?”
But for the Democratic nomination Jesse?
You didn’t even get the nomination! That’s a traitor’s reward.
Does anybody take this guy seriously any more?
(*sigh*) What a difference 34 years makes…!
I went on his rainbow push website and scanned the articles going back through the last few years. Though I was hoping to find a good quote that would offset this one in it’s pro-abortion awfulness, I didn’t actually find one on that website. However, what I did find was very interesting.
Jesse Jackson has not one original idea in his whole poorly used brain. All of his efforts are knee-jerk reactions to whatever is the hot newsstory of the day. Years worth of ‘rainbow push’ entries show absolutely NO INITIATIVE, NO ORIGINALITY, NO MORAL STAND OR COMPASS, NO VISION. NADA. Nothin’. All Jackson does today is watch the news and spout off about whatever current events thing is trending at the moment. What a disappointment. Jesse, you can stop referring to King as your mentor now; you went down quite another road, haven’t you? You do not show leadership qualities at all.
