New Stanek poll: Which would be the more persuasive pro-life Super Bowl ad, graphic or nongraphic?
I have a new poll question up:
Which type of pro-life Super Bowl television ad would be more persuasive, in your opinion?
There are 2 options listed: “Graphic” and “Nongraphic.”
Vote on the lower right side of the home page.
Here were the results of my previous poll about Father Pavone and Bishop Zurek, not what I expected, particularly of the Protestants and secularists. There was a large turnout…
As always, make comments to either the previous or current poll here, not on the Vizu website. Also see this weekend question for comments on the same question.

I’d love to see an ad that has an ultrasound image with a beating heart…..with the words…..21 days…..My heart beats for you. Nothing else is needed….just showing the tiny beating heart of the unborn baby
Trouble with a poll like the one with Fr.Pavone is that the public only knows half the story.
Here it is two months later and the Bishop is not at all interested in respecting the commitments Fr. Pavone made to people around the country.
As I say each time i discuss this matter, please pray for all involved.
graphic because the one with tims mom didnt even come across as a pl message. the word abortion wasnt even used. it tanked
As a Catholic I understand the opinion expressed by the 48% that the Bishop is acting in a fair manner. That said I find myself in the 35% that says Fr. Pavone is not being treated fairly. We are a hierarchical Church and the Bishop has a right to exercise his authority but it must be done with charity and this is where I think the Bishop has fallen short. Beginning with the leaked letter and continuing with a rather heavy hand in the weeks following the actions of Bishop Zurek have done little to inspire.
Bishop Zurek I believe reacted to a prudential matter with an unmeasured response that appears to be unjustified, and the pro-life cause is the poorer for it. Fr. Pavone is a powerhouse in the pro-life movement. By sidelining him and hurting the efforts of the Priests for Life going into the most important political campaign in our lifetimes a major disservice has been done to the cause of justice for the unborn. The other side is dancing in the streets. I will pray for the Bishop. We can get this behind us, but it needs to happen sooner rather than later.
