Kutcher/Moore split: Infertility an issue
Although the couple dismissed any obstacles posed by their famous age gap – last year Kutcher praised his wife as “a genetic freak,” insisting that he was “not worried” about infertility issues – reality eventually seeped in, creating some of the first fissures in their relationship.
After the initial cheating scandal in September of last year, Kutcher told a close acquaintance about his frustrations. “He knows that with Demi he won’t have kids, and he really wants kids,” the source said then. “When he married Demi, he didn’t realize it at the time. He didn’t get it.”

What a horrible reason to divorce. Women with fertility issues should not become ineligible for marriage! If he was really serious about wanting kids, they could have adopted. This is just a lame excuse on Ashton’s part. MEN! Ugh. (No offense to the kind pro-life men in this forum.)

I did think about this when these two hooked up. I felt that Demi was using Ashton to feed her ego. She knew what she had and used it to her advantage to hook him not thinking about how it could come back to bite her.
As one gets older, they should become wiser. Maybe Demi will be wiser next round.

Hmmm this is interesting. So Ashton finally realized that marriage isn’t all about sex and status. I think that’s good for him, but too bad he realized that after already making a commitment. eh dont feel too sorry for demonic moore. shes very pro abortion. im not ssure if shes had an abortion or not. if ashton was a woman demi would be ( and in my opinion is a pedophille ) and last but not least i cant stand ashton. i find him ugly. sorry. i couldnt imagine a mature woman even wanting him. they even joked that he was more age appropriate for one of demis daughters. sick! they actually deserved each other.

ive always heard that demi had an awful relationship with her mother. but dont you guys find it a little sick that a woman demis age can date a guy ashtons age and people go “oh shes a couger” or “thats just so hot.” i agree shes beautiful but i think shes got a screw loose. like i said if this were some old dude with a young girl he would be a total pervert and a dirty old man. *sigh*

Heather, he’s 33, she’s 49. That’s a big gap, yeah, but it doesn’t seem “incredible” to me. There are plenty of older guys with women 16 or more years younger than them.
To me, it doesn’t seem “hot” that such relationships exist, they just are, and if he was 18, then I’d think it’s pretty crazy.

Heather. :) I didn’t know how old he was and looked it up. Surprising that he’s as old as 33. I’ve never really liked him either – most of his deal is trying to be funny by being silly and goofy. And what’s the deal with Justin Timberlake? Heck, I think the guy is ugly.

Yeah…I am 28 and my partner is 40. He has children and I love and accept them unconditionally, just like I love and accept his mentally-challenged older brother unconditionally; just like I love and accept him unconditionally. I don’t know that we will ever have children, because circumstances are not ideal for it, but they would be welcome and loved and unconditionally accepted if they came along. I think you just need to go into these things with your eyes wide open.
no nicole. my mom had my brother at 40 and i had my son at 40 and i believe carla was a mom again at 40. it wasnt true for me but demi is 50 i think. that just might not work.
id read somewhere that madonna was dating a 21 year old and her own father called to tell her what a fool she looked like. i believe madonna is over 50.
and yes…one more note about ashton and demi he was 24 when they got together. i call 24 year olds kids at times…..trust me time flies. people called me a “baby” at 24. what on earth did she see in him let alone have in common with him? its beyond rediculous to me. as someone suggested maybe manipulation? eek. thats probably it cuz as i stated before i wouldnt be able to sit around and stare at his goofy unattractive behind for too long. i just dont get these 2 and i never have. she could have had a nice adult hollywood hubby. oh well …… * shrugs* good luck to them anyway.
