Abortion worker needs a little vacation
I work in an abortion clinic, I’m over worked, underpaid, and generally just sort of trying to stay afloat in a backwater madhouse. I have worked at my job for nearly 2 years and I have not had a raise or any paid time off, yet my responsibilities have quadrupled. I’m tired and burned out…
When I consider trying to write about my job and the experiences I have in providing abortion care I just want to scream and curse out everyone.
~ Sparky, The Abortioneers, January 31

Here’s a thought, Sparky: Stop killing babies and get a real job.
Those pro-life counselors outside will be happy to connect you with a new, life-affirming job!
Sparky, I just posted a comment on the Abortioneers blog but don’t know if it will be approved. What I want you to know is pro-lifers will pay for you take a little vacation and get work elsewhere – where you’re paid well and appreciated. Please take me up on this. jill@jillstanek.com.
Very nice of you, Jill – I hope that he or she will see this and take you up on it. Praying for you, Sparky!
When I see the words “abortion” and “care” together I just want to scream!!
Sparky,
Take Jill up on her offer please.
Boo hoo. I volunteer at a CPC for NO pay in addition to my regular job-and I love it. That tends to happen when you’re doing something meaningful that actually helps others. Try it sometime.
“Abortion care”? What an oxymoron.
Sparky might want to seriously consider taking Clarice’s advice.
MoronicProChoiceQuotes, before I had my son I used to volunteer also. No pay. I loved it. I loved seeing the moms come in so scared and then leave smiling knowing we would help them. I loved when they would come back with their babies months later. They kept coming back and we kept helping them…formula, diapers, clothes, friendship…whatever they needed.
Now that I don’t work outside the home, I am going to start volunteering again once my oldest is in kindergarten.
Sparky, you want to scream because you know you are killing children where you work. There are former abortionists who made way more money than you make and even they felt burned out after a while. You can only destroy tiny innocent lives for so long before your conscience makes you miserable. Take Jill up on her offer and use your talents in a real job!
People, let’s not smack Sparky when she’s already down. We don’t know her situation. And it’s really nasty to get snarky about working at a CPC without pay as a volunteer — people don’t do that to support their families, which is likely what Sparky is trying to do. Would you get snarky if Sparky was a manager of a burger joint with those same complaints? Acting as if merely getting paid somehow makes her some sort of privileged whiner? The worker is worth his (her) wages, the Bible tells us. If a worker is being treated unfairly, he or she has a LEGITIMATE COMPLAINT. Sparky probably never would have gone to work at an abortion establishment if she had realized how wrong it was. Think of Abby Johnson, and how she was motivated to go to work for Planned Parenthood thinking she was going to make the world a better place.
Sparky, take Jill up on the offer. Get away from that place.
Sparky: PLEASE heed the offers and suggestions posted above. Nothing “good” comes from working in an industry (yes, abortion IS an industry) that ultimately does nothing but destroy everything thing and everyone involved in it.
Killing babies is an ugly way to earn a living…you just don’t realize it…but eventually you will.
Christina, no one is being snarky. Help is being offered to her. She is saying that she hates her job BECAUSE she isn’t paid enough. We are saying that isn’t why she hates her job. How is that being snarky?
Ugh, no wonder you’re tired and burned out. Those sound like terrible working conditions, and I imagine that the atmosphere of death around there doesn’t help either. I hope you can find a better job.
Sparky – run from that job and get some other life-affirming work! Take Jill up on her offer. She has lots of connections and it will be very worth your while! Abby Johnson is also helping people quit PP. You can do it – and you will feel a huge weight off your shoulders! good luck, and we are praying for you! God will open those doors and get things done for you! Just trust!
The idea that they are “praying” for a world with abortion leads me to believe they are unwittingly praying to Satan. Talk about confused.
Just standing outside the place makes me want to hurl sometimes. I can’t imagine what it’s like being a party to such doings. I’m sorry, Sparky. Please get out of the business before it destroys you, because it will. My mother used to work for an OB/GYN who did abortions. Eventually, it destroyed him as well, which just tore my mother up watching the downward spiral of a man she respected after she quit because she, too, could not come to terms with what was going on there, and she was just a bookkeeper/receptionist.
Please get help.
thank you xalisae
May God bless all of you for your offers of help. I hope Sparky takes you up on it.
I imagine it was also pretty low pay work to burn Jews in ovens, but you can find some reason to stick with just about any job, eh? I mean.. after all, there is the satisfaction of getting rid of the unwanted….
“I pray to live in a world where abortion is a medical procedure that someone may opt to have. People will some how finally realize someone else’s pregnancy and the outcome of their pregnancy is just none of anyone’s damn business.”
I feel a little sick just thinking about a pro-abortion prayer. If ever there was a prayer destined NOT to be answered in the affirmative, it’s that one.
I don’t think we have to worry:

There are many people who feel exactly the same way about their jobs, no matter what they do or who they do it for.
Are you going to offer all of them a paid vacation and a cosy new job too?
“I imagine it was also pretty low pay work to burn Jews in ovens, but you can find some reason to stick with just about any job, eh? I mean.. after all, there is the satisfaction of getting rid of the unwanted…”
And yet, the majority of American Jews are staunchly and proudly pro-choice.
So what? They’re in error as are you.
CC, what EVER is your point? At one point the majority of white folks thought black folks were “lesser” humans than whites and stupid and really just human looking animals. Did that make it TRUE?
I don’t care if every Jewish person decided to march for abortion. That wouldn’t make it right.
Snarky? This woman isn’t some poor misguided waif, Christina. She’s a paid shill for the abortion industry. We don’t need to ‘know her situation’ to know there are other jobs she can be doing to feed her family-the rest of us are managing without anyone having to die so we can feed our kids. Pretty lame that you’d put me down for volunteering because I’m not doing it for pay, implying that I’m priveleged. We’re struggling ourselves, but that doesn’t excuse me from not doing what I can. I don’t sidewalk counsel for pay either-should I quit that too? Maybe if the 90 percent of the prolife movement that never shifts their butts off the couch to ACT joined us, we’d actually be closer to recriminalizing abortion. I don’t pity ‘Sparky’ at all-they want choices, they get to live with the consequences, same as the rest of. Enable them if you want, I won’t.
