Heh heh, my cats have an annoying habit of chasing each other and running laps through my apartment in the early morning hours, sometimes dashing onto my bed and waking me, and even using my stomach as a spring board in the process :P

My cat starts to climb the curtains in my bedroom in the mornings. That or he just starts playing with anything and everything. I am always worried that he will go for an electrical cord and he’ll electrocute himself so I always end up waking up just cuz I want to make sure he doesn’t hurt himself. He has gone for my computer cord so I know he will go for electrical cords if I don’t watch him…
Kristen, my orange tabby used to try to chew on wires when he was younger and this was a concern for me as well. There are bitter flavored sprays (such as Bitter Apple) and space deterent sprays (I think it’s called Sss-scat) you can get at most pet stores, to discourage playing with/chewing on wires and to keep the cat away from the area where the wires are. Also, you can take the clear fish tank tubing & cutting a slit in it, place it over your wires. Oh the lengths we’d go through to protect our kitties :P
