Lunch Break Good Friday: “Jesus” by Rich Mullins
by LauraLoo
The late Rich Mullins performs Jesus at the Cornerstone ’97 Festival. This song was part of Rich’s 10 Songs About Jesus project, which was ultimately recorded after his death and released as The Jesus Record. A demo version by Rich was included on the album, while Ashley Cleveland sang on the studio version.
May you keep Jesus especially close to your heart this Good Friday, never forgetting spiritually and physically the love of God as evidenced by His plan of salvation for all who will believe and trust in Him.
See John 19 for an account of Christ’s crucifixion.

He is risen.
He is risen indeed! :)
I love both versions of this song, Rich’s and Ashley’s.
I sometimes think of all the songs we missed out on since Rich’s death, but I’m very grateful we have as many as we do.
