Lunch Break: Father of 30 requests child support break
by LauraLoo
I’m not sure what to make of this father of 30 children – or of the 11 women who continue making babies with him.
Desmond Hatchett from Knoxville, Tennessee pays about $1.50 each month from his minimum-wage job to “support” each of his 30 children.

And to think, some people will look at this situation and believe contraception is the solution…
I mean, seriously, will everyone just watch the first 3 minutes of the movie, Idiocracy?
I don’t know. It’s just sounding like no one in that area has really much of an impact on helping these women stay away from this guy. It sounds like there’s some kind of dishonesty going on with him, but he’s at least not trying to get these women to have abortions, and the worst thing he has done is make babies, which our nation is starting to really realize, we need!
Leonardo Davinci’s Dad fathered something similar. Alot of pre-Christian era communities would have one of these guys spring up every now and then. This is just what he does, he needs to go to church and realize what being a good man is really about, and what taking responsibility for your actions means.
Who knows, maybe he’s looking for the true love he had with his first high school sweetheart, and he just can’t ever seam to get it right with any of these women.
No one has told him what a loving balanced relationship really means.
My guess is his dad was not around, just a guess.
He needs one of those HLA ‘just for guys’ abstinence brochures!
It teaches men why they should wait, and why kids need fathers in their lives.
Wasn’t there a song written about this guy? Papa was a rolling stone.
With all the tax-dollars funding sex ed in schools this is supposed to be a thing of the past. We should know that sex-ed without moral education doesn’t work. He needs a major intervention. I kind of feel sorry for him… Praying he will get his act together and find ONE woman to call his wife.
I don’t think I’ve gone to the bathroom that many times.
Should the women he impregnated be praised for rejecting abortion?
“rejecting abortion”?
How do you know they even considered abortion, Denise?
I don’t believe this man should be called a father, he is a “sperm donor”. I don’t think he is a father, he doesn’t support them financially or emotionally. He impregnates these women, to prove how ‘macho’ he is. Being a parent involves time and devotion and is the most rewarding and sometimes the most frustrating ‘job’ you will have. The greatest job and honor in the world.
