by LauraLoo
Meg Meeker, M.D., visited Family Life to discuss her newest book The 10 Habits of Happy Mothers. Monday’s topic focused on peer pressure and motherhood, Tuesday’s topic focused on eliminating competition and today’s topic focuses on enjoying the simple life.
A wealth of information to use and to share with other moms!

Dr. Meeker is a phenomenal author. Her book “Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters” addresses a lot of points that get lost in the choice/life debate — namely, that girls with workaholic fathers, with abandoning fathers, or with mothers who push their daughters’ fathers out of their lives are far more likely to engage in risky sexual activity.
I was thinking about the whole abstinence thing, and it seems like it’s not just as simple now-a-days to just tell teens not to have sex. It’s WAR! We are being bombarded with sex in this day and age. Abstinence requires vigilance and regular training. Here is a show that demonstrates one of the frontal assaults on our teens and all adults who hope to remain abstinent.

These people want to get their book in every high school library in the country, and so far have gotten it into many high schools. It’s bad, be warned!
