Lunch Break: D-Day reflections
by LauraLoo
It has been 68 years since that deadly day called D-Day on the shores of France.
Reflections first from the late President Ronald Reagan on the 40th anniversary of D-Day:

And reflections dating back to 1944 - rare colorized footage of the English, French and American – military allies unified in their quest to defeat German military and political leader Adolf Hitler.
God bless our military - past, present and future!

Ronald Reagan is so awesome! :)
Thanks LauraLoo!
That was a treat.
May the courage of our military men and women in harm’s way inspire those of us in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ to boldly confront the evil in our day.
What a day. What courage. What sacrifice.
And what a president. Back in the days before frat boy prowlers and faculty lounge incompetents.
Thanks everyone. The U.S. military at its finest.
Couldn’t agree more about Ronald Reagan – what a man of stellar leadership and character.
LL ;)
