Pregnant Shakira already wants another
After taking to her Facebook page September 19 to announce that she is indeed pregnant with her first child, a source close to the new Voice mentor, 35, tells Us Weekly she and her soccer-star beau Gerard Pique are already planning for a sibling.
“They definitely want more than one together,” the source reveals. “Shakira is really looking forward to being a mother.”

That’s not cute.

“I believe a girl can have a baby every year and become more beautiful, have a lovelier complexion and better figure, with each newborn. I’m living proof of my theory.” — Jayne Mansfield.

Who cares???
If she’s so interested in being a mother, then let them get married first and build a proper foundation for their children. Babies are not accessories to her celebrity lifestyle. It’s not about “what they want” it’s about what children NEED.

I wonder about women who think heir boyfriends are good enough to be the father of their children but not good enough to be their husbands.

Are same-sex couples the only ones yearning for marriage these days?

I think it might be the other way around, Sydney. These guys want to “play house”, but they don’t want to “commit”…what do they think a child is????
And women “settle” for whatever form of “commitment” will keep the guy in their lives.
Just my two cents.

Hey “Christians,” knock it off. Your bigoted religious spouting and moralizing does a great disservice to the entire pro-life movement and community. Must you be so negative? Must you jump to condemn an unmarried couple? Can you not smile and celebrate their LOVE for their unborn child and their representation of a couple who VALUE life and want ANOTHER child? This is great!!! :) Quit being so sour and judgmental! Yes, marriage is great and yes it IS the best way to have a family, but the lack of wedding rings is NOT grounds to be a wrinkly-forehead sourpuss. Knock it off, LOVE MORE, and focus on supporting and celebrating LIFE… and life-affirming couples.

Who cares if they marry? Marriages fail all the time, my wife and I did everything right, didn’t even sleep together before marriage and our divorce is final in two days. If they will make decent parents and are vocal with how much they are going to love being parents, then I will never understand why anyone cares if they have a stupid piece of paper that means nothing if they decide so.

Jack,
Congrats, dude. It’s a rough place, but it gets better. Hopefully. Eventually. Soon. I know it will, for both of us, brother. *hearts*

Do you have a question to go with your question marks, carder?

Well she has placed them after your name, so perhaps she thinks you’re using an alias. :)

Not knowing the circumstances of Jack’s situation, I was taken by the “congratulations” part of your post.
I get the “condolences” angle. That’s usually my first my reaction when someone shares their divorce announcement with me.
“Congratulations”? Caught me off guard.

Lol, in my case it’s both a congratulations and a condolence. Congrats on getting out of a terrible marriage okay, condolences that it didn’t work out. I got what Alexandra meant.

Yes, carder, I have known of just a fraction of the pain and bull that Jack has undoubtedly gone through over the last few months, and I’ve seen the dignity with which he has handled things as well as the commitment he’s maintained to being a good father. Divorce is never a happy thing but sometimes congratulations are in order for getting through it without losing yourself or any of the principles that YOU, at least, went into the marriage with. If I could, I’d buy him a drink and pat him on the back. Well, two drinks – one for condolences, and one for congratulations ;)
