Once again all of the comics terrific. But if I had to pick one, I would pick Nate’s this week.
I vote for numero cinco.
Hillary has leaned way in and taken one for the whole democRAT team.
She should be nominated for the Janet Reno pińata award.
It appears even rats have some sort of familial loyalty to the collective.
I hope the obamateur gets the opportunity to fall on his sword.
It will be a teachable moment for all past, present and future democRATs.
b o will take the cowards way out and attempt to save his own bacon, while at the same time sacrificing any convenient victims including his own wife and children, even an entire nation, anyone but himself
You know things are getting desperate in Obamaland when they’re treating the binder thing like an actual gaffe. Once again, great Sunday funnies as always this week.
“Tonight, more Americans are out of work and more are working harder for less. More of you have lost your homes and even more are watching your home values plummet. More of you have cars you can’t afford to drive, credit card bills you can’t afford to pay, and tuition that’s beyond your reach.” Of those responsible for this disastrous state of affairs, Obama declared, “It’s time for them to own their failure.”
“We Democrats have a very different measure of what constitutes progress in this countryl…We measure progress by how many people can find a job that pays the mortgage; whether you can put a little extra money away at the end of each month so you can someday watch your child receive her college diploma. We measure progress in the 23 million new jobs that were created when Bill Clinton was president — when the average American family saw its income go up $7,500 instead of down $2,000, like it has under George W. Bush.”
Well under the obamateur’s leadership, the average American family saw its income go down by almost $4,000 in just three years — from $54,797 when Obama took office in the first quarter of 2009 to just $50,964 in the first quarter of 2012. Instead of 23 million new jobs, b o is the only president since World War II to have presided over a net job loss. The U.S. is now in its 42nd consecutive month of above-8 percent unemployment — the longest stretch of sustained high unemployment since the Great Depression.
“If you don’t have any fresh ideas, then you use stale tactics to scare the voters. If you don’t have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone people should run from. You make a big election about small things,” the eye candy man said.
from the obamateur’s 2008 address to the DNC and excerpts from an article by Marc A. Thiessen, a fellow with the American Enterprise Institute
While appearing on the “Today Show” with host Matt Lauer in 2009, the obamateur stated that “I will be held accountable” for his term as president. Also during that same interview, Obama claimed that within the first 3 years of his presidency, he would cut the deficit in half and rebound the economy. He was so trying to be confident in this interview that he goes on to tell Matt Lauer, “If I don’t have this done in 3 years, then theres going to be a one term proposition.”
Lauer: At some point, will you say, “Wait a minute. We’ve spent this amount of money. We’re not seeing the results. We’ve got to change course dramatically”?
Obama: Look, I’m at the start of my administration. One nice thing about the situation I find myself in is that I will be held accountable. You know, I’ve got four years. And … a year from now, I think people are gonna see that we’re starting to make some progress. But there’s still gonna be some pain out there. If I don’t have this done in three years, then there’s gonna be a one-term proposition.
[Remember the results of the 2010 midterm elections.]
Then, on July 5, the obamater explicitly extended his accountability date beyond 2012: “We knew it would take more than one year or one term or maybe even one president.”
“The president can change his style, he can change his tactics. He can’t change his record and he can’t change his policies.” Mitt Romney
“The only people who don’t want to disclose the truth are people with something to hide.” the obamateur
It’s amazing the straws at which the Obama campaign is now reduced to grasp.
I’m reminded of little Drew Barrymore at the dinner table in E.T., bemused by her arguing brothers: “Alligators in the sewer…”
Today someone must be saying mockingly: “Binders full of women…”
The Obahmaniacs’ twisting and mangling of Romney’s “binder” statement has come back to haunt them just as did their portrayal of him as a killer and a felon. The more they call to question the character of the man the more it backfires on them as people see him for what he really is.
The hysteria of the Dems’ partisan rhetoric has now made it fair game for Romneyites to shoot back on something like Obama’s “not optimal” comment he made while referring to the tragedy of the dead Ambassador and soldiers. While both sides know what the other candidate really means, now thanks to the Obahmaniacs’ hyperpartisanship attacking with the ridiculous “binder” blather those defending Romney can play the game as well. It can be said that Obama was incredibly insensitive and coldly detached with that statement and unbecoming of a commander-in-chief.
Another vote for Nate’s comic.
Go Romney!
You have women on your side, no worries there, brother!
I found this online today, pretty sad, click link to see GOP fundraising of gay republicans.
After looking at all of them again, I must say I agree with others here that Nate’s is the best.
Hmm, unusually low activity on the Sunday Funnies thread this week. Anyone have anything interesting to say?
Weather was perfect in the Midwest and perhaps elsewhere too. Lots of people were out enjoying themselves in this wave of Indian summer. LL :D
Eh. Just an east coast RINO. Not really surprised by that.
GOProud doesn’t have an official stance on abortion, but they actively participate in various anti-abortion demonstrations/rallies. :)
