Woman gives birth to healthy baby after breast cancer treatment
At one point when I lost my hair, my son, then 5, asked if that would hurt the baby. We talked to him and told him no, that she would be fine because we had faith that God was going to take care of our family and our unborn daughter….
I didn’t throw up one time after chemo…. I actually believe my pregnancy hormones helped me with the limited side effects….
If it hadn’t been for my team of doctors and the support of my family and friends, I wouldn’t have made it, and I wouldn’t be sitting here holding my precious baby….
The baby’s name is Isabella Hope Booth because she is the hope that kept us going every day….
She saved my life.

It’s very tragic, I saw a few months ago a study showing chemotherapy generally didn’t cross the placental barrier and harm the child, yet anecdotally in just about every circumstance I’ve heard of when a pregnant woman is diagnosed with cancer or any other serious condition, abortion is always pushed. Needlessly, in this case, and how many have died as a result? Good for Meg! I noticed to after pregnancy, OB-GYNs always push birth control, even with my wife (the doc was dismissive of NFP, despite being employed by a Catholic hospital). Why does it seem sometimes like the entire medical community is an arm of the Americans Eugenics Society?
What a precious story!
I needed this today so THANK YOU!
Awesome precedent for women who find themselves in the same situation!
