Pro-life video of the day: Black Christian explains why he opposes Obama
by LauraLoo
Meet William, an African-American Christian whose strong convictions against the murder of innocent life through abortion and “the #1 kill of African-Americans,” make it impossible for him to vote for President Obama.

“Mr. President, I have to side with the Bible… I have a higher allegiance to Jesus than I do to the Democratic Party.”

God bless you, William!
I feel the same way, but am still agonizing over voting for Romney. I might just do it, just to annoy my pro-abort family (yes, I know its childish).
I feel the same way phillymiss. I can’t stand Romney, I don’t understand the gushing about him on this blog at all. But I dislike Obama more so it sucks.
Go William!!
Preach it!!
Thank you William for having the backbone to say this regardless of the backlash that you will surely receive for stating your Chrisitan convictions. (Being called an “Uncle Tom” and a “traitor” comes to mind).
I have a question posed by a relative of mine for all of those that say they believe in an Almighty Eternal Creator (even if you are not a professing Christian).
“What did God create first before there were kings, before government, before judges, before there were laws, even before the 10 Commandments? He created MARRIAGE and he created FAMILY.
Look up Genesis 1::27b and 28 “”…male and female created he them. And God blessed them and God said unto them , Be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth” and Genesis 2:24 “Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave unto HIS WIFE”.
God is NEVER unintentional about anything he does or says. He always does everything with a divine purpose. Please note God did not say “his husband” or “her wife”.
“Before you were in the womb, I knew thee”. God help this nation.
The only reason I feel ok with voting for Romney is that he cannot possibly screw up our economy more or clear the way for killing more babies than our current president and we get a chance to kick him out in 4 years if he screws up. The first 4 years seem to hold the prez a little accountable so he can have a shot a re-election. The second 4 years seem like they are a free-for-all (IE bush II).
and this was a VERY brave thing for Mr. William to do, I cannot imagine the backlash he is experiencing in his own social group and possibly his family right now. I personally know of a black father and son who were cut off completely from their extended family, not by their choice, b/c they voted against our current prez. The person leading the blacklisting? The father’s own brother who is a ‘pastor’ to this day.
Romney is a good man who has done a lot of charity work in his personal life. He supports pro-life at least as much as GW Bush and John McCain, and he strongly supports religious freedom. Here is an ad from him on religious freedom:

All Christians who value their freedom should be voting for Romney. If Obama can take away the religious freedom of a denomination as large as Catholics, he can take away the freedom from any Christians.
Jack,
I only gush over my husband. :)
And I gush over no one Carla. No one! Lol.
John, Jack isn’t a Christian.
I feel the same way phillymiss. I can’t stand Romney, I don’t understand the gushing about him on this blog at all. But I dislike Obama more so it sucks.
I am just afraid that him and his sidekick will cut SNAP (foodstamps) and other programs that are strongly needed. Yes, I think that private organizations should help whenever possible, but its just not enough. We have to care about born people, too.
Phillymiss, Romney and Ryan believe in subsidiarity, not in abandoning the poor. They believe that the first response to the poor should come from the community, then only if the community fails the state should step in, then only if the state fails should the federal government step in. Obama seems to believe the opposite, and quite frankly, the Catholic left has spent many years slandering anyone who disagrees with this approach as anti-poor.
Both approaches have their pluses and minuses, and there is legitimate difference of opinion on them, unlike the abortion issue. Obama, Biden, Romney and Ryan all agree that we need to help the poor and that charity alone is not enough. They just disagree on how exactly it should be done.
People, as long as you vote for Romney you can dislike him as much as you want. Taking into account present circumstances, doing otherwise would be votimg for Obama, which you know would be devastating. Please, please vote for Romney, if you don’t and Obama wins think about how you’ll feel.
People, we’re not voting against Obama alone.
Every puppet has a master.
Awesome video LauraLoo. Thanks for sharing it.
Thanks Truthseeker – HT goes to Jill for video and the rest a combo effort between Kelli and me. LL :D
