A comparison of rapist Ariel Castro and liberalism
Ariel Castro got these women pregnant and would beat them causing them to miscarry. Kinda like how liberals beat off businesses until they have to abort their dreams.
So no, I don’t like the liberal idea or Obama’s idea of healthcare. But liberals think we’re just supposed to enjoy their ideas. And in their twisted minds, they think their way is what’s best for us.
And I’m sure, just like Ariel Castro, liberalism doesn’t see itself as a monster.
~ Alfonzo Rachel comparing kidnapper and rapist Ariel Castro (pictured) to President Obama and the Democrats’ pattern of denial, PJTV’S ZoNation, August 6

Oh come on now, that’s a little much!
Yes, that’s over the top. Harassing businesses (and that’s what Obama is doing) is a far cry from kidnapping, raping and beating innocent women.
As it stands, the comparison is weak. Perhaps the modern idea that we must be sexually fulfilled to be happy, plus diminishment of perception of value of human personhood (not created in God’s image, just another species of animal) feeds into already disordered minds and hearts so that they are more likely to treat others as objects to”fulfill them sexually”.
As I have said before my husband’s kids are Amanda Berrys cousins. I have seen Amanda and her sister Beth. She is keeping her daughter conceived from rape. She got her put of the house because she was afraid Castro would start molesting her. Castro feels he’s done nothing wrong. He’s a sociopath.
This is an absurd thing to say. I’m not even going to touch the issue of comparing rape, kidnapping, and assault to national economic or healthcare policies, but pretty much every single person who has an opinion and a position on ANYTHING thinks that “their way is best.” That is WHY people have opinions and positions. It’s absolutely ridiculous to claim that this is something unique to liberals and rapists.
This is some nasty, polarizing rhetoric.
Also, it’s poorly worded and the logic doesn’t follow.
Well, that’s just about the silliest, most illogical thing I’ve read all day. Granted, I haven’t read any of “Reality’s” comments today, so that assessment is likey to change.
Castro is also being charged with murder. I believe its the babies he beat out of Michelle Knight ….he will die in prison.
It is a poetic comparison. It makes sense, if anyone is familiar with Alfonzo Rachel and his work.
As a stand-alone quote, it just sounds like right-wingnut extremism. It is not quite fair to Alfonzo to pull his quote out of context.
His point is valid: The liberal elitists do not see themselves as monsters.
I can see his point, but I think it’s not likely to be helpful.
I know your head can get a little full watching newsfeeds all day. Alfonzo may need to switch to decaf every few cups.
This is seriously disgusting. You don’t take someone’s personally tragedy and use it to score points against your political rivals about their economic policies. Seriously, makes me sick to my stomach. And you wonder why rape isn’t taken as seriously by the police as it should be, when apparently it’s just a cheap joke for pundits to use to make stupid, poor analogies.
I’ve never liked this Alfonzo guy in the first place, anyway.
” As a stand-alone quote, it just sounds like right-wingnut extremism. It is not quite fair to Alfonzo to pull his quote out of context.”
What context could possibly make this okay? You realize rhetoric like this is part of the reason we’re so polarized and hateful towards each other based on political party, right?
I know why politics is “polarized and hateful,” and this sort of rhetoric is the result — not the cause — of the polarization.
The context is that Alfonzo is always urging us make connections between real life and political ideologies. He wants to break the icon of Democrats as “givers of all good things to Black people.”
When Peter Kreeft spoke in Madison, he noted that modern Liberals are not concerned with liberty, or generosity, or freedom of thought, or any of the things that are truly definitions of “liberal.” Modern Liberals are really “Elitist Totalitarian Dictators,” and we should name them as such. They believe that they should rule our culture for us, because they know better. So they shove through legislation that American families don’t want.
Or, as Alfonzo says, “
So no, I don’t like the liberal idea or Obama’s idea of healthcare. But liberals think we’re just supposed to enjoy their ideas. And in their twisted minds, they think their way is what’s best for us.”
Dr. Kreeft is a soft-spoken philosophy professor from Boston. Alfonzo is a loud-mouth internet media personality. Same message; different style. The truth does not change, whether we like the style of the messenger or not.
Most annoying excuse for being a bad person ever: “Ignore the terrible, terrible, things I say and listen to the message! Who cares if I just compared you to a rapist because you disagree with me about economics, you just can’t handle the truth!”
Did anyone ask Castro’s victims what they thought about their pain being used to score political points?
“Modern liberals” are not the only people who want to rule culture, seeing how conservatives treat certain groups and are willing to break their rule of “screw big government” if it suits them.
I’m gonna start making really tortured analogies comparing everyone I disagree with to a famous rapist/kidnapper, and then claim that they are just denying the truth when they get mad at me.
“So you eat meat, you know who else did that? TED BUNDY!!!! What now, killer?”
Does anyone but his own fans take this guy seriously? I doubt it?
My bet is he’s just trying to raise his profile. Probably angling to get a Limbaugh or Beck type position.
This comparison only trivializes Castro’s horrific crimes and the suffering of his victims.
Castro was a monster because he pushed his will upon innocent persons, against their will and inflicting great harm upon them.
This is an easy comparison for those of us who see the recent works of our government that have been pushed upon us, against our will and threatening to do great harm. ObamaCare and the HHS Mandate, in particular…. both have been shoved down our throats in spite of widespread opposition.
If you think the comparison was in poor taste, you are probably right. But poor taste does not change the reality that more and more Americans are starting to view the elitists as monsters.
We all have to participate in things we don’t like, that’s a facet of being part of a diverse society. I don’t like paying taxes for war and the death penalty or giving subsidies to farmers who kill animals. It’s just stupid to compare governmental and economic policies you don’t like to something like being raped, especially when you’re using actual, named victims as examples. Not only is it in poor taste, it’s a bad analogy and really makes you complainers look like selfish cry-babies.
Like Mary said he’s trivializing horrific crimes to complain about governmental policies you don’t like. He needs to grow up and learn to converse like an adult rather than an idiot.
Thus far the economy has not crashed enough for starvation or seriously disrupted social order or killing to compete for food or widespread slavery, or a one child policy. People who are aware of such conditions elsewhere, and the possibility that they could occur here, might understand Alphonso Rachel’s analogy.
Rather than score political points, Rachel is trying to shock poeple into understanding the scope and severity of damage done by stopping America’s economic engine.
“Thus far the economy has not crashed enough for starvation or seriously disrupted social order or killing to compete for food or widespread slavery” – despite the best efforts of the gop.
“the possibility that they could occur here” – you want some cans of beans, some varmint lure and a lock for your trapdoor to go with that conspiracy theory Pharmer?
You guys (and gals) are preaching to the choire, and actually Reality is making logical comments for once. Go figure?
Reality says:

“Thus far the economy has not crashed enough for starvation or seriously disrupted social order or killing to compete for food or widespread slavery” – despite the best efforts of the gop.
Obama has achieved much of the damage that the GOP threathened to accomplish.
The point is that all elitists are dangerous. the current batch are especially so:
– Shoving ObamaCare through without fair debate.
– Insurance mandates into an environment of too much insurance
– Dictates against religious freedom
– Targeting opponents unfairly for tax scrutiny
– Gathering mass data against the privacy of innocent citizens
– Mounting debt upon us that will soon become catastrophic
When will we realize that we are hostages and slaves to the elitist class of totalitarian dictators?
Del, Del, Del… it’s the Elitist’s Burden to have to impose on us stoopid people what we don’t realize is good for us. We are so ungrateful for their efforts. Aw.
“the possibility that they could occur here” – you want some cans of beans, some varmint lure and a lock for your trapdoor to go with that conspiracy theory Pharmer?
Reality,
You ARE aware of China’s one-child policy and the US’s support thereof, right? It’s not just conspiracy theory when it’s actually happening in a developed nation and our Gov’t is in support of it.
And the shift in the conversation about euthanasia and the ethical questions that are being reconsidered by our nation can bring to the front concerns about abuses. This is especially poignant given some of the occurrences in other nations which have legalized assisted suicide, especially those with gov’t-run healthcare systems, recently.
And then of course, we are already treating the killing of our own as a legitimate option to maintain the lifestyle we prefer. Through abortion, we “humanely” (yeah, right) kill our most innocent so that we can avoid being forced into abject poverty because we are being told constantly that childbirth will result in decreased social status up to and including our inevitable starvation.
Widespread slavery, mass killing, starvation, a seriously disrupted social order: these are all things that occur in the world. They have happened before, and they continue to happen. If you are unwilling to even consider the fact that it could happen here, you will be among those who push us into that future.
MaryRose, I agree with you 100 percent only that all this is happening HERE as we speak:
– the masses are already enslaved by our all-mighty feds in every category (check who just tapped your phone, etc.)
– mass killing occurs through rampant abortions.
– our gov’t pours millions of dollars in subsidies to farmers and yet food cost is sky-rocketing.
– liberal madness is the cause of disrupted social order and that reality we experience daily.
