Stanek Sunday quote: “When our reputations are attacked, we remain courteous”
When people verbally abuse us, we bless them. When people persecute us, we endure it. When our reputations are attacked, we remain courteous. Right now we have become garbage in the eyes of the world and trash in the sight of all people.
~ I Corinthians 4:12b-13, God’s Word translation

Wow…. those signs are rude.
I like the bottom shot, in which the sign and the tent banner combine in a way that reads, “Murder on demand & without apology.”
Where are the women?
Of course “courteous” and “doormat” are not synonyms. “Rebuke the sinner” and “instruct the ignorant” remain moral imperatives for us.
Yes, Janet, good point. Thanks for making it. But in all things love – the hard part.
I envision a sign that has a Gosnell victim in a jar and Gosnell’s smiling mug next to it, and underneath it the words: THESE ARE THE FACES OF ABORTION!
To me being courteous does not equate with turning the other cheek so much. This is what pro-abortionists want Jill. They want us to allow them to demonstrate with such signs and urine samples and other props uninterrupted. Peacefully we can counteract their demonstrations across the street.
I agree that in our ranks there are some that have become toxic to the movement by going beyond advocacy and peaceful rallies/demonstrations. But those are few and far in-between. I have seen more of the violence-driven amongst the pro-aborts. Our reputation is not in as much trouble as you think. Our message is being heard as evidenced by state-by-state effect.
And yes, where are the women???
I’m so glad Jill brought this up today. It really does make a difference in changing the minds of so many people when they see pro-life supporters continuing to behave courteously, act with love, and provide material and spiritual support to women in crisis, especially as their opposition becomes more and more vulgar and extreme in pushing their pro-abortion agenda.
Dialogue with the pro-abortion community is only possible if there is respect on BOTH sides. When this is absent, the pro-abortionists are only left with name calling and slander. They cannot refute their case with science and facts.
