Obamacare: Filling abortion industry’s coffers to tune of ~$1 bil/yr
In reality, the abortion fee is a dollar or more a month. Doesn’t seem like much, right? Well, those pennies add up. Alliance Defending Freedom does the math.
Say just half of American workers are forced to pay only a dollar each month. That’s $924,000,000 – all funneled into an abortion-on-demand fund each year. That translates to more than 2,000,000 elective abortions that you have been forced to help fund.
What’s more, Obamacare has a “gag rule” that forces employers to keep mum about which plans include an abortion premium until the time they enroll.
It gets better, yet. Planned Parenthood – the largest abortion provider in the country – helped write all these mandates.

Secretary Sebelius could not answer the question from the committee today regarding how many exchanges and which ones do not include abortion coverage. There was supposed to be at least one exchange per state that did not cover abortions. Apparently, that is not the case.
Obamacare is the political payoff to Planned Parenthood from Obama and the Dems for getting their abortion cult followers to drink the kool-aid and install the socialist extremists into government.
Again, if I had to predict an incremental outcome, I’d say that eventually PPA will be given the keys/control over all Catholic Hospitals. Satan loves to mock God, but can’t stand to be mocked.

From what I’ve heard at a minimum Connecticut and Rhode Island do not have any that do not cover abortions. But their very well may be more. :(
With this administration you can forget what the law actually says, they don’t give a rip and have almost half of the judges in the country willing to ignore it for the good of the team. The rule of law is a punchline these days, instead of a core democratic value.

KenTheBirther is correct. “Democrats” are in a symbiotic relation with the abortion lobby: elected democrats support abortion-favorable laws, feeding money to PP, and PP takes that gravy train and feeds it into the election campaign of democrats.

At $550 per abortion, that is 2,000 abortions they had to perform to support their candidate.
But they have to; there is no other survival strategy for PP. Without political scratch-my-back support, popular dislike of abortion would lead to various restrictions, and eventual death of PP.
Outside of abortion, there is no clinical service performed that could not be easily performed by an amazingly available array of providers. Basically, along with abortion, PP makes money off of birth control pills, pap smears, and other mundane clinical services.
Any FQHC can carry these out. They are nearly in range of being covered out-of-pocket by any female with a caring partner, or at average income level. So, there is nothing unique or special – by a long shot – about the services provided by PP, other than abortion.
This is why the fight for abortion rights is such a big issue. As long as we believe in legal abortion, the “democrats” have an entrenched source of power. “democrats” can appear as fighting for the little guy, and as concerned for health, and as long as we don’t question this dogma, they sustain continued, growing entrenchment in govt.

Thomas I don’t think ken was calling the women who visit PP but the institution of PP a whorehouse where there is the exchange of death (killing) of the unborn for money. Correct me if I am wrong ken. I think of it as a Dead Babies R Us brothel where our tax dollars are paying off PP for them sleeping with (voting for) Obama and the demoncRATic party. Celeste Richards sat across the table from Obama, Jarrett, Sebilius, Reid, Pelosi and company (if not literally figuratively) and decided through Obamacare how they wanted to promote “abortion on demand, with no exceptions” using the taxpayers dime and the American people agreed to it.
