Hollywood aglow with baby bumps
Is it just us, or is all of Hollywood glowing? Check out what babies are coming soon in 2014!

Beautiful.
All 6 of them.
Congratulations to various people in Hollywood!
Aren’t some of these dresses too tight?
Too tight for what?
Not if you want to show off that baby! :)
The green one seems to be. The other two don’t.
Exactly Carla (about the green one)! I approve of Drew’s dress – not too tight and shows off the baby bump w/o asphyxiation risk :)
It looks like the green one may be a different material that gives the appearance of being too tight.
But whatever.
Because Hollywood people are just people – albeit with lots of cash and cameras hovering around them all the time. I personally would not want to be pregnant with that much publicity. The headlines would be annoying and then i’d start doing stuff just to get em talking “LB seen at the gym LIFTING WEIGHTS wearing only one leg warmer. Is she trying to tell us something!?” ”LB seen eating a whole milkshake except for the last drop which she smeared on her belly. New cult?” LOL Actually it might be totally fun…. lol
I still like Drew’s the best LOL (is there a smiley with glowy eyes?), Kerry may want to stripe or polka-dot her’s, and the green one needs to be recycled.
Thomas you crack me up. I don’t even know who those ladies are.
The green one is a pretty ugly dress but I don’t think that it being form-fitting is too related to that. The color and material are horrendous, IMO, but when it comes to actual fit I don’t really think that pregnant women “should” dress in looser clothing than non-pregnant women, and I don’t think that this dress would raise any eyebrows if she weren’t pregnant.
I feel like being a fashion critic today LibertyBelle, nothing to do with the ladies pictured, except for Drew, ahhh :)
Haha yeah I don’t know. I like the simplicity of the white one. But honestly none of them look like something I’d wear. I’m a tad picky. ;)
And yeah teh green dress looks like an alien exoskeleton. (Though that may because I’ve been watching too much Dr. Who lately….)
Alexandra, as far as the “I don’t really think that pregnant women “should” dress in looser clothing than non-pregnant women,” isn’t it truly predicated on the size of the baby bump?
Drew Barrymore is cute and goofy. I am not a fan of Kerry Washington, though, as she is a big shill for Barky. Everyone praises her show “Scandal,” where she is the mistress of the very married white president, yet actress Tamera Mowry was called a “white man’s whore” because she is married to a white man who (horrors) is also a FOX news reporter:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2539000/I-called-white-mans-whore-Sister-Sister-star-Tamera-Mowry-tearfully-reveals-years-sickening-online-abuse-mixed-race-marriage.html
I know that “Scandal” is just a show, but a black woman (especially a light-skinned one) being the mistress of a white man is an old racist stereotype, and the fact that a black woman produces the show doesn’t make it any less upsetting.
I don’t think that the appropriate tightness of a dress has much at all to do with the size of the baby bump, Thomas. Obviously the size of the dress (or the cut of it) will change depending on how big the baby bump is, but the tightness of the dress on her body is a separate matter entirely. I don’t find that my opinion on what is “too tight” for a woman to wear varies with her stage in pregnancy at all, really. Her body shape changes and that means that the shape of her clothing – if it is form-fitting – changes, but that’s all. Maternity wrap dresses are a less hideous example of this.
So the green dress is ugly IMO, but it’s got nothing to do with how tight it is. That’s just really unattractive fabric and cut. And of course Olivia Wilde could wear a burlap sack and still look gorgeous lol.
I do think that a baby bump should not mean that all of a sudden women can’t wear form fitting clothing. Show off the baby bump! I think sometimes people mutter about pregnant women looking “sexy” instead of “maternal”, but I don’t think the two are mutually exclusive at all.
Olivia Wilde does not hold a candle to Drew Jack, just my opinion and I’m sticking to it :)
I ‘m not at all against form fitting clothing to show off the baby bump, my comments are pretty much about “how fitting or tight” they need to be in order to do so…
LOL Jack true. I mean, they got those bumps somehow, yes? ;)
But yeah after a certain point, it will all be tight on the belly – even maternity clothes. Haha It depends on the woman though.
The floral thing looks like something from the 1950’s. The green dress looks like a throwback to a bad part of the 70’s. The white number looks elegant and modern.
Just admit it “reality” that you are a very conventional kind of a guy :)
I think most people consider me fairly mainstream, whatever we may take that to mean “thomas r.”
Being mainstream is kind of passe nowadays in the US “reality,” so why be you when you can be new? :)
My mainstream is newer than what you seem to think is mainstream.
Marriage isn’t a necessity for a successful, long-term, loving relationship. Same sex attracted folk should be entitled to the same relationships as straights. That sort of thing.
Your mainstream is like, so last century :-)
I just prefer values over immediate self-gratifying progressivism, so in that sense I am not mainstream, whatever we may take that to mean “reality.”
We all have values “thomas r.”, they’re just not always identical.
What about self-gratifying regressivism, where those who believe that only their way of living is acceptable and agitate for others to follow.
