The organization’s message came after the recent uproar over the Supreme Court’s decision that for-profit company owners with religious objections to providing coverage for abortion-inducing drugs could be excluded from the Obamacare Contraceptive Mandate.
Taking to Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr, Planned Parenthood sent an additional “Happy 4th of July” message as a reminder for safe sex: “Whether you’re watching fireworks outside or making them in the bedroom, stay safe!”
Nice to know this is how Planned Parenthood translates “liberty and justice for all.”

Safe? Being pregnant is the least of your worries. Not when “manual-genital” and/autoinoculation transmission of STIs can take place and people are not told this at a minimum along with washing your hands. As of Feb., 2013 “CDC’s new data suggest that there are more than 110 million total STIs among men and women across the nation”. Sounds like 1 in 3 have something. Agreed Claire, “tacky” is a perfect description. The statue looks like something junior high kids would design and then giggle at it like Beavis and Butthead. This maturity from an organization that attempts to educate teens on responsibility.
STI’s are really devasting the African American community, particularly AIDs. Many black women get it from men who are on the “down low” — straight men who are actually gay or bisexual who have sex with women. It really is a tragedy.

Well Claire,the Greens always had the liberty to practice their faith. What they have now is the license to impose their faith on others via a corporation.
Religious freedom means having the freedom to practice your religion. It does not mean having the freedom to impose your religion on others. That has happened for too long and is only now starting to abate. This Hobby Lobby case is one of the backward steps which occur on these journeys.
