Pro-life vid of day: Pope prays at cemetery for aborted children
During Pope Francis‘ trip to South Korea, he visited the House of Hope in Kkottongnae, which cares for the elderly and disabled who were rejected by their families.
While there he saw a memorial garden of small white crosses representing children aborted because of their genetic abnormalities. He bowed his head in prayer and spoke with a pro-life activist who had no arms or legs.
In his homily given the day before, he referred to the “culture of death,” as had his predecessor, Pope John Paul II, listing a number of threats to the world, among which was a “culture of death which devalues the image of God of life, and violates the dignity of every man, woman, and child.”

During the video, the speaker claims, “Pope Francis stopped to pray at a memorial for aborted children, a rare gesture, as he has been known to avoid such culturally sensitive gestures.”
I call Baloney with a capital B.
The Pope has not avoided the topic of abortion. Many, however, are avoiding his message, hearing exactly what they want to hear.
Francis is the real deal. He preaches the hard truths, and he lives what he preaches.
The media’s approach to Francis has been interesting. They cherry-pick a few of his quotes, report them out of context, and then pretend like Francis is the reversal of ancient Catholic teaching.
Entirely the opposite of the way that the treated B-16…. the media told us that he was going to be “God’s Rottweiler” and a “Panzer Pope.” They were surprised that Benedict was a much gentler pastor than St. John Paul the Great or Francis.
Do not trust anything the secular media reports about the Catholic Church. They do not understand enough to get it right.
I love this pope. Too bad he’s dying :(
