It’s not just Obama. America does not have the moral spine to engage in a holy war.
George W. Bush used the word “crusade” once, and was loudly panned for it. We have not heard the word since.
The answer our generation gives to ISIS must be like the answer that the Greatest Generation gave to Hitler. But the Greatest Generation gave the Baby Boom. How can a generation that killed 54 million children find that same spirit of generous self-sacrifice?
I’m voting for #1 this week.
Interestingly enough, pro-life hero Phil Robertson’s stance on ISIS is also “convert or die.” Now we know why he wears that bin Laden beard.
Lisa, what options do you see as a resolution to the ISIS scourge other than a conversion of the terrorists (which is what it would take for them to abandon their holy jihad against Christians or fighting back militarily and killing them?
Great question truth.
It was hard to pick a winner this week as they were all so good.
I liked #5 a lot because it so accurately depicts BO’s character.
I seriously hope that Obama gets some good advice and listens to it. We need him to be successful in leading our response to the ISIS crisis.
It is going to take a generation or more of Americans being firmly convicted in our opposition. European Christians strove for centuries against Islamic invasions…. This is not going to go away by our being nice and being patient.

Del, I really wonder what’s going to happen with it…. I agree that some hard action must be undertaken.

I think we all know that “conversion” ain’t gonna happen, there. For at least 20 years – since the 1993 World Trade Center bombing – I’ve thought that the only way we can proceed is to make them unable to carry out their plans and wishes, or kill them.
How else to defend, when the other side is willing to die, and their leadership readily uses anybody that will embrace the ideology and is good at constant recruiting?
