Pro-life video of the day: GOP warns about Obamacare

With insurance cancellation notices and skyrocketing insurance costs impacting millions of Americans, many have pinned their hopes on a Republican effort to repeal Obamacare, should the GOP take both houses of Congress.
While some – both Republican and Democrat – have said that a repeal effort is unlikely, it appears the GOP is seeking to refute these claims with this parody of DirecTV’s “Get Rid of Cable” commercial campaign.

Now that the hand grenades have exploded in our system of healthcare/insurance/employee benefits, we are going to need more than a repeal of hand grenades.
I suspect that government has created a problem that government cannot fix. But before we can get to work toward fixing the problem ourselves, we need to get government out of the way.
As pro-lifers, we need to provide some model legislation and good ideas — the way that Planned Parenthood assisted with composing the ACA (and wrote themselves a windfall).
Then the GOP is a bunch of idiots and shouldn’t win any seats (they will – an uneducated world we live in).
Rate increases are the smallest in years. Number of insured people largest in years. A lot to pick on Obama on – but health care is an area where voting GOP is going to bring us a HUGE step back.

Under Bush, family insurance more than double – almost tripled. The rate of uninsured went up many points. Rate of people covered by work plans decreased. Insurance companies could deny coverage based on pre-existing conditions. Insurance companies could spend as little as they wanted on actual care. Insurance companies could tell a family with a young, disabled child that they would only cover a certain amount (cap amounts) – or kick them off the plan all together.
And people want to bring that back?
OBAMACARE USED TO BE A CONSERVATIVE PLAN. Darn near every idea was once a conservative push.
Only thing I see good about repeal is it gets us to universal care much faster – an inevitable if the GOP gets its way.

Impeaching Obama and putting Lois Lerner and Eric Holder in jail would be a good start.
The only chance the DemocRATs have in 2016 is if Obamacare gets repealed or else over the next two years millions more people are gonna lose their doctors and their plans and find out they can’t afford their new Obamacare deductibles and the GOP will walk into the presidency in 2016.
At least now the Senate will work with the House to pass a legitimate budget. Whats it been…. six years?
Personhood got 36% in Colorado. Its not the 50% needed but it means we only need to change the minds of 7% of the people who voted No to vote Yes and that would make a 14% swing right?.
It would require changing the minds of 15%.

Praying the GOP goes hard right and goes after Obama. Try to impeach him – repeal HealthCare Reform – go nuts.
GOP has to defend 24 of 34 seats in the senate in 2016. Minority voting populations continue to rise, which means that unless the GOP moves center, they are in big time trouble next election (this isn’t my opinion – google 2016 elections and you’ll find plenty of articles).
Really, really hoping Ted Cruz takes the lead for the GOP – that would be money for the left. Gridlock for two years, but 2016 would be a landslide.
How sad to pray for gridlock for two years just so your preferred political party has a chance to win big in 2016. Why not pray that all our elected leaders get their heads out of their butts and work for the benefit of all in the US? I’m so sick and tired of the ridiculous political animosity. My own Democrat Senator sends hateful emails labeling Republicans as the enemy, completely ignoring the fact that he just labeled about half his CONSTITUENTS as the enemy! It needs to stop.

Because I think the GOP is bankrupt on ideas to move this country forward. If they start turning back into the conservatives of old, then maybe I’ll think differently.
