Hospital that gives “comfort care” to late-term abortion survivors promotes “kangaroo care” for wanted preemies
To help Paige and the other infants in the NICU grow and develop as best they can, staff are encouraging all moms and dads to provide their babies with “kangaroo care,” a practice that helps premature babies thermoregulate (maintain the body’s core internal temperature), sleep better and go home sooner….
~ Chicago Tribune, May 17, on a new effort at Christ Hospital, in Oak Lawn, Illinois, to promote the well-being of preemies. At the same time Christ Hospital offers late-term labor induction abortions, which sometimes result in babies being aborted alive, in which case the hospital provides “comfort care” until they die.

Is this Jill’s old hospital, where they used to leave babies to die in a linen closet?

If I live for a time after someone attempts to murder me, I hope I will be provided comfort until I die.
Please just make sure the person(s) providing me comfort are not the same people who wanted me dead.
Hospital Board of Directors: What do you think Jesus thinks about you choosing to condone the killing of children? Anything else positive that is happening at this hospital is overshadowed by the purposeful killing of children. At the very least, take His name off your abhorrent hospital so people are not misled into thinking you care about the least among us.

Yes, Del, it is.

Impossible! Planned Parenthood supporters have been telling us the the entire justification for that organization’s existence is that they do things other than abortion. If what you say is right, that would make them wrong, and we can’t have that! [/sarc]

Jill,
Is this a step in the right direction?

Toby, instead of attacking Jill, why not come up with something feasible on working together to stop this practice?

How could anyone let a child die in a hospital? It is contradictory to the oath that health professionals make. Abortion and abandonment like this is a dishonorable practce, to say the least.

this just kills me. My son was born 9 weeks early back in February, and he certainly needed lots of specialized care to survive, which of course was provided (he’s now over 3 months old and doing very well, thank God). To think of hospital staff, probably from the same department, just “comforting” a baby the same age as my boy without trying to help them live…how heartbreaking! What if the mother changes her mind after the abortion “fails”? Would the baby then be rushed to the NICU?
