Taliban committing postbirth abortions
Pro-aborts should have no trouble with this, since they already support the killing of preborn children pretty much the same way. From the Washington Times today:
Pakistan’s top Taliban leader, Baitullah Mehsud, is buying children as young as 7 to serve as suicide bombers in the growing spate of attacks against Pakistani, Afghan and U.S. targets, U.S. Defense Department and Pakistani officials say.
A Pakistani official, who spoke on the condition that he not be named because of the sensitive nature of the topic, said the going price for child bombers was $7k to $14k – huge sums in Pakistan, where per-capita income is about $2,600 a year….
The U.S. official said the price depends on how quickly the bomber is needed and how close the child is expected to get to the target.
“[Mehsud] produces these suicide bombers, which are sold or bartered, which can be used by [Afghan Taliban leader Mullah] Omar’s Taliban or … other groups,” the U.S. official said.
In some cases, he said, the children are kidnapped and then sold to Mehsud….
Just about all will consider these acts sickening and despicable. Pro-lifers feel the same about abortions. The only differences are the children described in this article are a few years older than children aborted, and you can see them, while you don’t see children being aborted.

Come quickly, Lord Jesus!!
I hate the state that children’s rights are in nowadays. They have no education, food, water, live in war-torn areas as refugees or prisoners, and even in the United States children do not have a universal right to humanity, as in- their very humanity is not granted to them only if their mother’s opinion is that they are human.
This isn’t right. Why children of all people? What honestly drives people to do this to children?

It’s a joint effort between greedy, depraved, evil, hell-bound men and satan.
Mere words are totally inadequate to describe my rage.
There’s an article on CBN.com today about human trafficking and little girls being brutally raped over in SE Asia.
We in the church have a lot of work to do.
Come quickly, Lord Jesus!!

Amen Carla!
“The only differences are the children described in this article are a few years older than children aborted, and you can see them, while you don’t see children being aborted.”
That’s not the only difference. How can you change our minds when you have no idea who the “pro aborts” are or what we believe. Plus, the rude attacks don’t help either. “Pro-aborts should have no trouble with this, since they already support the killing of preborn children pretty much the same way” Really? That’s what you mean to say? Really? Your failed efforts at being clever just show you to be out of touch, mean spirited, and uninterested in dialog. Good luck.
You lost me Hal. You don’t have a problem if some jerk with a lab coat and a seared conscience cuts a living child into little pieces and sucks it out of his mother’s womb but you do have a problem with some guy using C-4 to blow a child into little pieces?
What is it, geography? One child being north of the cervix and the other child south?
I don’t think you’ll ever understand, Ed.
Hal,
I’m half Irish. I have a couple of uncles who are my mother’s big brothers and when my mother was a little girl, she came home in tears one day because she had gone to the store and some bully knocked her and her groceries to the ground.
As she explained the incident through sobs and tears my uncles had one question, “Who?”
“Ba-ba-bobby E-e-edelman”
My uncles were off like they were shot out of a cannon. They spotted him near his upper flat in Detroit. They chased him into the backyard, up the stairs, into the flat, through the dining room, past Bobby’s mother, into the living room, through the front door, down the steps and they tackled him on his front lawn.
They pinned him to the ground, looked him square in the eye and told him in no uncertain terms that if he ever laid one finger on their little sister again, he’d have hell to pay.
As men Hal, it’s our responsibility to provide for and protect our own. Furthermore, the strong among us should help protect the weak.
I’m sorry you were deceived into killing your children. There is forgiveness for you through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ. God’s promise is that when he forgives you, it’s as though you’ve never sinned – you’re guilt-free!
If you would give your life to Christ Hal, you could enjoy the rest of your life as God’s son, and you could look forward to a joyful reunion with your children in Heaven.
I am passionately committed to defend and protect unborn children Hal. And you’re right, I will never understand how a man could justify killing his own children.
(With apologies to all you precious, repentant, post-abortive moms & dads out there. I admire your courage. We’ve all made mistakes.)
I don’t think you’ll ever understand, Ed.

Perhaps because there is nothing to understand. If you’re on this site you clearly think you’ve thought this issue through, but I garentee you, if you still believe in abortion at any point you haven’t opened your mind to the possibility that a fetus is a human being, which is just plain science.
I once tried to debate this with a group of very liberal kids. Don’t tell us what not to belive. I am very good at debating this issue, to the point of being an expert, and all of these kids went so far as to say that A) Identical twins weren’t people. B) People in reversable comas should be euthinized because they are worthless. C) Anyone who is killed in their sleep isn’t really murdered, because they “didn’t protect themselves well enough before falling alseep.” D) Babies up to three years old should be killed if the mother doesn’t like the way they look.
They agreed, explicitly, with all these points, JUST to defend their pro-abortion stance. What would you agree to, Hal?
I’ll agree that suicide bombers are immoral.
I’ll agree that suicide bombers are immoral.

Nice dodge. I think most pro-aborts are very good at avoiding the question because–surprise, surprise–they have no answers.
Hal,
A parent who sells their child to serve as a suicide bomber is not all that different from a parent who aborts their child because they “can’t afford” another child. It’s about money.
You know from being on this site as long as you have that there are MANY resources pregnant mothers can rely on for help with the medical expenses and the care of their child after it’s born. Money shouldn’t be a reason to abort, nor should money be a reason to turn one’s child into a suicide bomber.
Janet — excellent point @1:43 pm.
Ed — I love the story about your mom and uncles!
Thanks Eileen.
Several years ago my Mom was thinking about her childhood and a few words kept rolling around in her thoughts. She sat down, grabbed a pen and wrote them down. The words kept coming and grew to a poem. She felt inspired as she wrote them, more like she was taking dictation. It kept happening and now there are about 70 poems. Here’s one she wrote about her brothers John & Clayton:
Big Brother
Big brother how could you always know
these little girls would need you so.
Someone to protect them whaen danger was near
when Daddy was busy and Mom couldn’t hear.
The chanting and chiding of ruffian boys,
who soon learned their lesson when they heard all the noise,
Of our brothers’ arrival with bike’s screeching wheels,
and a stern word of warning so they’d know how it feels,
to be sent on their way with one thing made quite clear.
They must never return or they’ll have much more to fear.
Pretty cool.
“How can you change our minds when you have no idea who the “pro aborts” are or what we believe”
===============================================
We already know who the pro-aborts are, Hal…
and they believe/ defend the killing of the innocent unborn for the sake of “choice”.
Personally, I think a change of ‘heart’ should happen first before a mind is changed…
Hi Ed,
I have one daughter and three sons. I pray they grow up to protect their sister, other girls, wives and the unborn.
I’m sure they will Carla.
I checked out your site and it looks like you and your hubby are doing a great job with your cherubs!
We need the coming generation to be pillars of righteousness.
Keep up the good work!
Will do, Ed! You too!!
Hi Guys, i’ll do my part too. Onward and upward.
..and yet, you pro-fetusers supported an administration who put “OIL/$$$ before fetus”, giving these scumbags a new lease on their terrorist lives by diverting American resources and manpower to securing one of the worlds largest energy supplies. Imagine that? Now, the taliban is strenghthen and the Opium is flowing (No doubt ruining the lives of fetus and post birth fetuses alike) All thanks to you guys and YOUR President (really, your VP).
He might be a “pro abort” but, at least PRESIDENT Obama has the courage to do the right thing even if there’s ZERO chance that we will make some $$$ off of it. Success in Afghanistan won’t give us a new supply of energy, it won’t set-up billions of dollars in energy contracts for business buddies but, it will save fetuses and post-birth fetuses around the world from the terrorism of religous zealots.
Here’s a pipe and a match.
Proud Okie Liberal.
Americans have committed hundreds of thousands of post-birth abortions by killing all those post-birth fetuses in Eye-Raq!
You’ve lost it, nurse Stanek.
Hi Guys, i’ll do my part too. Onward and upward.

Hal,
Your desire to train your children in righteousness is commendable. And the people within you and your children’s spheres of influence should benefit.
However, in God’s eyes, our righteousness is as filthy rags. Until you realize your need for a Saviour Hal, you can’t receive God’s Righteousness, and you will live under His Judgment with the rest of the world.
And when you and your children die (unless they repent), it won’t be “onward and upward”, but you will descend to a place of torment, prepared for satan and his demons.
Eternity is a long, long time Hal. Get your heart right today.

Mods,
Was there a technical or content issue with my post this morning?
It should be up now, Ed. For some reason it was sent to spam. Thank for letting us know. God love you.
Thanks Mods!
You too Bobby.
It looks like we’re going to have a great weekend to celebrate our freedom and the biblical virtues and values this country was founded upon.
God Bless.

I’ve had the same trouble in the last day or two. I’ve been posting a lot. The site seems to be counting posts and “holding” them if a certain number is exceeded. Maybe the number should be increased or maybe we commenters should be try to combine several comments into one post. (?)
Ed, I’m afraid you and I have different ideas of righteousness.
I wasn’t talking “biblical.”
Have a nice weekend. I’m sure we can both agree that Freedom is worth celebrating.
“..and yet, you pro-fetusers supported an administration who put “OIL/$$$ before fetus”, giving these scumbags a new lease on their terrorist lives by diverting American resources and manpower to securing one of the worlds largest energy supplies. Just what are you smoking?!!! Just where is all the oil and money that we are supposed to have?!! Gee, why isn’t the O administration using it instead of putting us into a quagmire of debt? Wasn’t the war in Afghanistan the war that was justified by you liberals, anyway (as opposed to the war against Saddam Hussein)? Why don’t you go over there and find out the truth? No, you would rather stay safely at home and happily repeat the propagandist bilge that other liberals so readily spew. It is easier to throw the war out there instead of offering a reasoned argument to support abortion.
Ed, I loved your Mom’s poem :)
Hal,
Yes we have different standards of righteousness. In the end though, neither your nor my opinion will matter, only God’s. And you should know, He loves you so much, He sent His Son to die for you so that you could be free from the bondage of sin, which we all wrestle with – freed from sin, alive unto God, and clothed with His Righteousness.
You don’t know what you’re missing!
If I don’t see you here later this weekend, you have yourself a great weekend with your family, celebrating and enjoying the blessings of Liberty.
Peace.
I’m glad you enjoyed the poem Eileen. I’ll include more in future posts when appropriate.
As I alluded to, she give God all the credit. She says when she gets an idea or a memory, she’ll get a few words and that’s when she knows to grab a pen and a piece of paper and the words just flow.
I’ll try to find another one appropriate for this weekend.
Peace.
