  • Clinic Quotes reports the words of a Boston abortionist who acknowledges that her work as an abortionist does end lives… but for “good reasons”:

I have the utmost respect for life; I appreciate that life starts early in the womb, but also believe that I’m ending it for good reasons. Often I’m saving the woman, or I’m improving the lives of the other children in the family. I also believe that women have a life they have to consider. If a woman is working full-time, has one child already, and is barely getting by, having another child that would financially push her to go on public assistance is going to lessen the quality of her life. And it’s also an issue for the child, if it would not have had a good life. Life’s hard enough when you’re wanted and everything’s prepared for. So yes, I end life, but even when it’s hard, it’s for a good reason.

Limbaugh: Obama’s a hypocrite for “blessing” Planned Parenthood

rushobamaPlanned Parenthood cannot afford to condemn any abortion, after birth, partial birth, they can’t condemn any. They can’t take action in one way, one syllable, one word, they can’t oppose any type of abortion or they destroy their own purpose.

To Planned Parenthood, every abortion is good, every pregnancy is a potential disease, every pregnancy is the result of male domination. Every abortion equals female freedom and emancipation. Every abortion equals women saying, “Screw you.”

10 ambulance calls in 20 months to U.S. Planned Parenthoods

Guest post by Cheryl Sullenger of Operation Rescue

Yesterday Operation Rescue reported that a woman is suing Planned Parenthood Birmingham for missing an ectopic pregnancy. Clinic staff and abortionist Aqua Don Emmanuel Umoren apparently lied when charting that an 8-wk, 4-day-old baby was seen on ultrasound and palpated on internal exam, going on to commit an unnecessary abortion. The mother ended up in the emergency room 25 days later and had to have a fallopian tube and her 13-wk-old baby removed. She maintains in her lawsuit she is now infertile.

This was just one of probably hundreds of abortion botches we wouldn’t otherwise know about were there not a lawsuit.

But the number botches we do know about through emergency ambulance calls to U.S. Planned Parenthood  clinics is alarming – 10 over the course of only 20 months. This volume certainly does not bode well for the supposed safety of legalized abortions.

The list:

  • Culture Campaign reports on a new study from Yale University and City University of New York, which “shows that if the Republican Party abortion platform came to fruition and states could outlaw abortion, not only would the national abortion rate drop, but the rate among non-white Americans would drop the most.”

Some point to this and claim racism on the part of Republicans… but really, doesn’t this just prove the pro-life point that abortion is used as a eugenic weapon and disproportionately takes the lives of minorities?

Stanek Sunday quote: The abolitionist history behind “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day”

Here’s the second in the repeat of my Sunday series during the month of December on the fascinating abolitionist history behind some of our most beloved Christmas hymns. Pro-lifers identify closely with those 150 years ago who fought to free another oppressed class of people. Last week I posted about “O Holy Night,” and included […]

New documentary gives voice to adult children of sperm donors

Flipping channels several weeks ago, I stumbled on a deeply disturbing Style channel special, “Sperm donor: 74 kids and more on the way.” It told the story of 33-yr-old Ben Seisler, pictured right, whose sperm donations (why do they call them that? he made $150 per deposit) to date have spawned over 70 children – […]
