Show support tomorrow on Hobby Lobby Appreciation Day!

I was thisclose to Jo-Ann Fabrics today but am holding out to make my Valentine’s Day craft purchases tomorrow at my local Hobby Lobby.

That’s because tomorrow is Hobby Lobby Appreciation Day, and we pro-lifers need to participate if possible (which can also be done online!).

Politico: Democrats forced to switch strategies because abortion now a losing issue

If Democrats and liberal feminists lose the presidential election this fall despite their “war on women” strategy, they will have depleted their arsenal.

In their most candid interviews to date, various Democrats and abortion industry players admitted in a Politico article today they know abortion has become a losing issue for them. They have hinted at it a couple times this year (here and here), but they show all their cards in this piece.

In order to get women to unwittingly support abortion, they are pulling out all stops, accusing Republicans of wanting to ban contraception,  encourage domestic violence, and deny women breast exams, maternity care, equal pay, and education access.  It’s all in a quite revealing article…

Bishops need to man up

Listen, you fools. YOU DON’T SHUT ANYTHING DOWN. You keep going exactly as you have been, and you force those dirty rotten SOBs to literally storm your hospitals and shut YOU down at gunpoint. And I’m not kidding. Make them physically shut down your hospital by dragging you out at gunpoint. Make them physically shut […]

  • Michael New exposes the media’s smear job against researcher Priscilla Coleman, whose findings published in the Journal of Psychiatric Research first showed sampling errors, opening the door to attacks by Guttmacher.

What the media has conveniently ignored is that the corrected study still showed that abortion leads to a “statistically significant increase in the likelihood of 11 mental-health problems.” Coleman also published a 22-study meta-analysis last year in the British Journal of Psychology, which “offered the largest estimate of mental-health risks associated with abortion… and provided plenty of evidence that abortion leads to a range of mental health problems.”

Today! Stand Up for Religious Freedom Rallies in 140 cities

UPDATE 1:30p: Victoria Jackson at rally in Ft. Lauderdale!

9:07a: Today pro-lifers in 140 cities from coast to coast will Stand Up for Religious Freedom to protest President Obama’s healthcare mandate, which will force religious entities to provide contraceptive, abortion drug, and sterilization coverage in their insurance plans. All rallies will be held at noon local time.

More bad news for Obama’s woo on women: 57% oppose forced religious contraception coverage

I wrote yesterday that President Obama’s strategy to attract women voters with his HHS contraceptive mandate isn’t working. Both a New York Times/CBS poll and Bloomberg poll showed a huge drop in support among women for Obama since 2008. Here’s more bad news. Another NYT/CBS poll, conducted March 7-11, shows 57% of Americans think religious […]

  • Bookmark this from RH Reality Check to respond to claims that “no one likes abortion”:

I love abortion. I don’t accept it. I don’t view it as a necessary evil. I embrace it.

I donate to abortion funds. I write about how important it is to make sure that every woman has access to safe, legal abortion services. I have bumper stickers and buttons and t-shirts proclaiming my support for reproductive freedom. I love abortion.
