The abortion industry’s looming RU-486 legal crisis

RU-486 mifepristone abortion pillA Politico article today about new abortion cases that could reach the Supreme Court gave bare mention of its potential review of RU-486 regulation.

But due a circuit court split on laws regulating the administration of RU-486, such a review looks likely - and promising for the pro-life side.

AZ Planned Parenthood CEO: Must give RU486 off-label to make ends meet

imageIn response to a state law passed in 2012, the Arizona Department of Health Services issued new rules in January specifying that the administration of the abortion drug RU-486 must follow FDA guidelines.

This meant that come April 1 Arizona abortion clinics would only be able to dispense RU-486 up to 49 days (7 weeks) after the first day of a woman’s last period rather than up to 63 days (9 weeks), as is abortion industry practice.

  • The Planned Parenthood in Austin, Texas, resumed abortions on Friday after their abortionist obtained admitting privileges at a local hospital. This was the same Planned Parenthood which cancelled Marni Evans’ abortion. By the way, Evans has deleted her tweets asking various media individuals to contact her about her cancelled abortion.

Jivin J’s Life Links 8-15-11

by JivinJ, host of the blog, JivinJehoshaphat I’m not sure who came up with the title for the AP article, “One-child policy a surprising boon for China girls.” Yeah – 43 million girls aborted because they were female, coercive family planning measures, being less likely to have siblings, family members who are bitter you’re not […]

Breaking: Jury awards $36 million to abortion survivor in judgment against late-term abortionist

Today I’m told an Orlando, Florida, jury handed down a whopping $36,766,000 civil judgment against notorious late-term abortionist James Pendergraft (pictured below left). There is nothing on this in the news yet. I’m going by information provided by pro-lifers who have been in the courtroom all week.

Jivin J’s Life Links 1-27-11

by JivinJ, host of the blog, JivinJehoshaphat The San Francisco Chronicle has a short blurb AP article on CA abortionist Andrew Rutland and his agreement to surrender his medical license. LifeNews has more details. A little over a year ago Rutland was ordered to stop providing abortions because his negligent actions led to the death […]

Kermit Gosnell, the Jeffrey Dahmer of abortionists

Actually, all abortionists have some degree of Jeffrey Dahmer in them. How else can people be described who spend their days dismembering children? But some go deeper off the end than others. Such a one is Kermit Gosnell. After he and his band of 9 accomplices were arrested during the night of January 19, a […]

Two more RU-486 deaths

Steve Ertelt at LifeNews.com today spotted an innocuous letter to the editor in the New England Journal of Medicine dated September 30 from the Centers for Disease Control dropping huge news: Two more women have died from infections after taking the RU-486 abortion cocktail. This brings the total number of known U.S. deaths to at […]
