  • ProLife NZ laments the story of a woman choosing abortion at 28 weeks gestation when she found out her child had a deformed left hand. She stated her decision to abort rested upon not wanting her child to be discriminated against due to this disability (oh, the irony). The media felt it unfortunate that the deformity was not identified earlier in pregnancy, as if that would have made the abortion more acceptable. (I wonder what would happen if children had the right to terminate less than perfect parents….)

Stanek wkend Q: What should Wendy Davis’s follow-up to her paraplegic ad be?

2014-10-11_0616

  • The FRC Blog explains how Democrat Sen. Patty Murray’s hasty “Protect Women’s Health From Corporate Interference Act of 2014” bill is actually anti-civil rights, anti-constitutional, anti-business, anti-religion, anti-woman, and just downright discriminatory.

They even suggest the possibility of flushing women once per month to be sure that no undesirable embryos are clinging to life in their reproductive tracts. This type of chemical birth control is touted as possibly preferable to the forms which have been designed largely to reduce the possibility of fertilization.

  • Abstinence Clearinghouse happily reports that the controversial Oxygen show, “All My Babies’ Mamas”, is being cancelled before its debut and is no longer in development. The show would have showcased rapper Shawty Lo’s relationships, which resulted in 11 children with 10 different women. Many pro-family groups – including several in the African American community – expressed disgust with the concept of the show. Star Parker remarked:

The destruction of the black family in only 40 years is not normal and it should not treated as entertainment for vulnerable children and young women. The consequences of living without responsibility perpetuates poverty and it’s cruel.
