  • Right to Life Michigan is proud to bring transparency and peace of mind  despite the histrionics from Rachel Maddow  who claimed that beginning today the women of Michigan will have to purchase rape insurance to provide for their abortions:

So what will happen when the Abortion Insurance Opt-Out law takes effect on March 14? The sun will rise and Michigan will join 23 other states that have opted out of abortion being a standard part in health care policies offered through the national health care exchanges. Michigan will also join nine other states that have opted out of abortion as a standard part of private health care plans.

Abortion proponents have been known to try to censor pro-lifers from showing the reality of abortion depicted in photos of the victims.

But there has been a recent surge.

It’s interesting to me that showing abortion victim imagery generates so much negative energy from the other side. What’s the problem with owning what they support?

On March 4 abortion proponents “erected a wall of censorship” around a Justice For All display at the University of Georgia according to The Daily Caller:

BREAKING: Biola apologizes, endorses use of graphic abortion images

imageBiola president Dr. Barry Corey, pictured right, has issued a public letter of apology for retaliatory actions staff members of his Christian university took against pro-life student Diana Jimenez in June for showing graphic images of abortion on campus:

For actions on our part that were perceived to be heavy-handed and retaliatory, I have apologized to her and stand by this apology publicly. I acknowledge and regret our errors, and steps have been taken to correct them….

In so many ways, Diana is the kind of student with the deep Christian convictions I hoped to see when I came to Biola six years ago. In her convictions about saving the unborn, she represents what Biola is about—the desire to speak up against injustices that break the heart of God. Like Diana, Biola is and has been passionately pro-life.

A campus security guard was caught on video threatening to have Jimenez arrested, and the director of the nursing program, Dr. Susan Elliott, ordered her staff not to write letters of recommendation on Jimenez’s behalf.

  • Abstinence Clearinghouse happily reports that the controversial Oxygen show, “All My Babies’ Mamas”, is being cancelled before its debut and is no longer in development. The show would have showcased rapper Shawty Lo’s relationships, which resulted in 11 children with 10 different women. Many pro-family groups – including several in the African American community – expressed disgust with the concept of the show. Star Parker remarked:

The destruction of the black family in only 40 years is not normal and it should not treated as entertainment for vulnerable children and young women. The consequences of living without responsibility perpetuates poverty and it’s cruel.

  • Another sad development for Democrats for Life of America. They’ve endorsed Tim Kaine in the U.S. Senate race in Virginia and Steve Pestka in the Congressional race in a district in Michigan. Neither of these candidates call themselves pro-life. In fact, Kaine’s web site says this:

I strongly support the right of women to make their own health and reproductive decisions and, for that reason, will oppose efforts to weaken or subvert the basic holding of Roe v. Wade.Pestka spent a inordinate amount of money in the primary noting his love for Planned Parenthood because his opponent highlighted an old funding vote which Pestka has now disavowed:

I am personally opposed to abortion and I would never counsel anyone to have an abortion…. I oppose late-term abortion, but at the end of the day, I don’t support making abortion illegal.

Does Democrats for Life have any kind of standard on who they endorse?

End game: Obama machine tries to block graphic abortion Super Bowl ads

Read backstory here and here. Six days from today graphic ads showing the reality of abortion will air before, during, or after the Super Bowl in at least 17 metropolitan areas across 10 states. Those states shall at this point rename nameless, because the Obama machine is now trying to block the ads. On January […]
