  • At Life Training Institute, The Failed Atheist links to his excellent response to the viral UK video of a pregnant pro-choicer chastising Abort 67 pro-lifers for holding abortion victim images in front of an abortion facility. TFA responds to the woman’s arguments, such as, “It’s wrong to show abortion imagery because we don’t know why they are having an abortion,” “You’re a hypocrite because you’ve had an abortion,” and “Some of the women wanting an abortion may have been abused.”

IRS: Abortion and birth control are tax-deductible

by Kelli Have an abortion, get a tax deduction! How strange that pro-abortion advocates aren’t using this as a selling point. Hmmm. Oh, and while they hyperventilate over Hobby Lobby not wanting to provide every type of birth control without a co-pay, it turns out that birth control pills can be deducted if prescribed by […]

  • Clinic Quotes shares something that might make your blood boil:

In one year alone, the Los Angeles Planned Parenthood clergy consultation service received $250,000 in kickbacks from clinics to which they referred women for abortions.

Planned Parenthood and their current Clergy Advisory Board has celebrated the 40th anniversary of the CCS and states that they are proud to continue defending abortion in the spirit of the CCS.

  • Live Action News dissects Planned Parenthood’s 2012 annual report, which shows that the organization performed 327,166 abortions – allowing them to maintain their “largest abortion chain” status:

For taxpayers who don’t want to fund abortions, this should be especially troubling, considering that Planned Parenthood is raking in a whopping $540.6 million in taxpayer funding, or $1.5 million per day. This accounts for 45% of their revenue. Compare that to their other sources of revenue — private contributions, 26%; non-government revenue, 25%; and “other”, 4% — and it is overwhelmingly clear why the abortion industry fights to keep organizations like Planned Parenthood on the government dole. Without taxpayers to leech off of, Planned Parenthood alone would lose half a billion dollars.

Breaking: New bombshell analysis of 36 Chinese studies shows abortion increases breast cancer risk by 44%

breakingGuest post by Joel Brind, Ph.D.

“China is on the cusp of a breast cancer epidemic,” acknowledged a prestigious group of American epidemiologists in 2008 in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.

Studiously avoiding the “A-word” the JNCI group blamed the emerging epidemic on “shifting reproductive trends” among “risk factors associated with economic development [that] are largely unavoidable.”

That’s because NCI still officially denies the reality of the abortion-breast cancer link.

But a new systematic review and meta-analysis of abortion and breast cancer in China was just published last week in the prestigious, peer-reviewed international cancer journal, Cancer Causes and Control, dealing the great wall of denial a serious blow.

Stanek Sunday funnies 6-9-13

Both liberal and conservative cartoonists piled on the IRS and invasion or privacy scandals this week, so it was hard to choose my top five favorites. But here they are. Be sure to vote for your fav in the poll at the bottom of this post!

Stanek Sunday funnies, “Liberals turn on Obama II” edition

This week critical mass was reached. The Benghazi, IRS, and DOJ scandals became too much for liberal cartoonists to ignore, and they came down en masse on President Obama. It appears the likely straw was spying on one of their own.

Be sure to vote for your favorite in the poll at the end of the post. And be sure to see Part I!

  • ProLifeBlogs features an article from The Black Kettle which states that when the pro-life group Coalition for Life of Iowa applied for nonprofit status, the IRS “sought details about the content of members’ prayers at a Planned Parenthood” and “demanded that the group refrain” from doing so. They later dropped the demand when the group sought assistance from the Thomas More Society.
