Breaking: Illinois Planned Parenthood investigated for Medicaid abuse

Crain’s Chicago Business is reporting that  Illinois Planned Parenthood’s medical director, abortionist Caroline Hoke, is being investigated for overbilling to Medicaid.

Crain’s found that of 30,000 physicians, Hoke received the second-highest reimbursement from Medicaid in 2009, over $3 million, but her reimbursements plunged to zero in 2011. Per Crain’s:

Supreme Court decision on Obamacare mandate

UPDATE 9:22a: philipklein tweet: “SCOTUS: ‘The Medicaid expansion thus violates the Constitution’– says states have choice on participating in expansion.'” SCOTUSblog tweet: “Expansion of Medicaid is constitutional (key), but States can’t be stripped of funds for not complying with expansion provisions.”

UPDATE 9:17a: The individual mandate will become a tax. Taxpayers will still be forced to pay for abortions. SCOTUSblog tweet: “From the Court: The mandate max [may?] be regarded as a tax. ‘That is sufficient to sustain it.'” philipaklein tweeet: “SCOTUS: Mandate ‘may reasonably be characterized as a tax.’ It survives.”

Hawaii Planned Parenthoods promote serial, government-funded sex-selection abortions

Today Live Action released its fourth video investigating sex-selection abortion at nationwide Planned Parenthood and National Abortion Federation clinics.

This sting focused on two Planned Parenthoods in Hawaii, and just as with the others, staff condoned sex-selection abortions.

BREAKING: Planned Parenthood busted in new undercover sting on sex selective abortions

UPDATE 7:42a: Sign the new petition at ProtectOurGirls.Com, which calls for an immediate ban on the horrific practice of sex-selective abortions in the U.S.

6:45a: Pro-life group Live Action has just gone public with the first video from  its latest undercover investigation: sex-selective abortions.

This first sting was conducted at a Planned Parenthood in Texas.

The Daily Caller broke the story a few minutes ago:

Stanek endorses Romney

I have a soft spot for pro-life converts, which Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is. I think pro-lifers could do a much better job of supporting them. I think it is time for that to happen for some of us who have been reluctant about Romney. The fact that he used to be pro-abortion is the major hang-up.

I’ve told the story before of meeting then-gubernatorial candidate Chris Christie at the New Jersey’s Rally for Life in 2009, where he was being maligned by his primary opponent as a fake, a political opportunist. There were even a few boos when he was introduced. Feeling sorry for Christie, who looked a little out of place, I approached his table during dinner, introduced myself, and sat down to offer encouragement for his conversion. He lightened up and talked a mile a minute, describing how he had changed his view on the life issue when becoming a father in the 1990s.

To start out pro-abortion and end up pro-life cannot be an easy process, particularly when one is in the public eye.

Stanek weekend question: Do you think Obamacare will survive?

On Monday the U.S. Supreme Court will begin hearing an unprecedented three days of oral arguments in a lawsuit brought forth by 26 states, the National Federation of Independent Businesses, and four small businesses challenging the constitutionality of the two-yr-old Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

The lawsuit alleges that forcing individuals to buy health insurance and forcing states to expand Medicaid benefits are both unconstitutional.

Meanwhile, Obamacare isn’t faring well politically. Politico posted a must read article yesterday, “5 things Dems got wrong on health care,” vindicating conservative opposition to Obamacare:

Massive, systemic Planned Parenthood fraud on brink of exposure?

The backstory, from LifeNews.com, March 12:

Lubbock Planned Parenthood CEO arrested for indecent exposure

Just as Planned Parenthood wrapped up its “Don’t Mess with Texas Women” bus tour across the state bemoaning its funding cut-off, the CEO of Lubbock Planned Parenthood was arrested for indecent exposure.

Planned Parenthood now needs to conduct a “Don’t Mess with Texas Men” bus tour.

According to Amarillo Globe News, March 13:
