Alabama abortionist jailed weekends – while admitting privileges law contested in court

Screen Shot 2014-05-29 at 12.01.14 PMYou certainly have to give Alabama’s abortion industry credit for chutzpah.

At this moment a trial is underway to determine the fate of a 2013 law requiring Alabama abortionists to have admitting privileges at local hospitals.

Two of Alabama’s five abortion clinics sued to block the law, claiming it would put them out of business.

It is certainly becoming clearer why the clinics are confident no hospital would want to touch their abortionists with anything other than a cauterizer.

  • ProWomanProLife recommends a blog post by pro-lifer Matt Walsh entitled, “I paid to have babies murdered and all I got was this coat hanger necklace?” Walsh writes:

Sure, we’d like to give to every worthy charity and needy neighbor, but alas our resources are finite. So… [d]o we concentrate on nurturing, sheltering, clothing, protecting, blessing, and loving our fellow human beings? Or do we negate the need for such things by opting to fund the extermination of the very sorts of humans that might end up requiring our charity, should they be permitted to exist in the first place? Do we feed them, treating them like hungry friends, or do we fumigate, treating them like swarming cockroaches? If the ease and efficiency of the latter option appeal to you, The DC Abortion Fund is here to help….

[They like] to keep it classy. That’s why they offer a gift to anyone who chooses to donate to their organization: A coat hanger pendant….

I’m not sure what they were going for, but to me it symbolizes the myth of the “safe” abortion. We pretend that the clinics provide a less hazardous experience than back alleys and coat hangers, but it’s all a charade. A show. A merciless ploy, and women are the victims.

“Safe” abortions have killed at least 400 women…. A peer reviewed study, published in the British Journal of Psychiatry, found that women who’ve had abortions suffer from an 81 percent higher risk of mental health problems. Worst of all, the suicide rate among these women is tragic and startling.

Safe? Safe for who, exactly? Safe for the abortionists, I guess.

A March 6 New York Times article, “Abortion law pushes Texas clinics to close doors,” included a slide show, “Last day for last abortion clinic in the Rio Grande,” referring to one of two Texas abortion mills that closed that day. • Americans United for Life applauds a coalition of black pastors and leaders in Illinois who are urging the passage of laws to protect women from the same negligent treatment that resulted in the death of Tonya Reaves at a Chicago Planned Parenthood. Reaves died as a result of a botched abortion. Reaves’ family filed a wrongful death suit and PP paid $2M. The coalition is seeking passage of two bills that would require informed consent before an abortion and would also require abortion facilities to have the same standards as ambulatory surgical centers.

breakingOperation Rescue has posted a year-end report on the number of abortion clinics that closed in 2013, and the news is good.

  • Operation Rescue says LeRoy Carhart has sent yet another patient to the hospital following a late-term abortion at Germantown Reproductive Health Services. Recall that the Maryland Board of Physicians refused to discipline Carhart in the abortion death of Jennifer Morbelli in February:

For the third time this year, one of LeRoy Carhart’s abortion patients were [sic] rushed to Shady Grove Hospital (SGH) in Maryland for emergency treatment after a late-term abortion.

On Tuesday at 11:45 a.m., an ambulance arrived… and loaded a women for transport to the SGH emergency room. Sources inform Operation Rescue that the women underwent emergency surgery at the hospital.

Video [below] taken by a local pro-life activist showed a woman covered head-to-toe in a sheet and that neither Carhart nor any of his staff accompanied the injured woman from the clinic to the ambulance.

ABQ 20-week abortion ban proponents: We’ll be back

Early poll results from the Andaluz hotel on the special election
2013-11-20_0807I was frankly shocked to see Albuquerque’s 20-week abortion ban initiative go down. In early September the ban got overwhelming public support, according to an Albuquerque Journal poll, right.

But the initiative did go down, losing by 9,144 votes: 55%-45%, 48,042 to 38,898.

Early voting is where our side lost. There were 50,000 early and absentee ballots cast, and they went 56% against and 44% for.

Objectively speaking, how barbaric is a society that votes in favor of murdering preborn babies five months old and up, particularly who are known to feel the pain of it all? How barbaric are people to jump, clap, and shout for joy when that happens (photo above)?

Pretty barbaric.
