Pro-life blog buzz 5-5-15

  • Culture Campaign comments on self-professed Satanist name “Mary” who claims the Missouri waiting period is preventing her from exercising her religious belief “that her body is subject to her will alone.” (I wonder how they square this with other laws in society which restrict individual rights.) Of course, Mary and the Satanists have the full support of abortion advocates. A fund has been established so “Mary” can have an abortion ASAP at the only remaining abortion clinic in MO, Planned Parenthood of St. Louis – which is not exactly known for it’s great track record on safety.

  • Secular Pro-Life has a well-written article delving into the art of analyzing polling data with a critical eye. Can pollsters manipulate emotions, and therefore results, by wording questions in a certain manner? The short answer is yes:

By name? Roe v. Wade is popular. By effect? It’s toxic. The key is to make defenders own the toxicity. (Related: It’s also important to help Americans realize how many of them already oppose abortion, because media bias causes us to significantly over-estimate the popularity of the pro-choice movement.)

And that’s really all you need to know about American opinion on abortion. When they see the facts, Americans still make the right choice.

10 ambulance calls in 20 months to U.S. Planned Parenthoods

Guest post by Cheryl Sullenger of Operation Rescue

Yesterday Operation Rescue reported that a woman is suing Planned Parenthood Birmingham for missing an ectopic pregnancy. Clinic staff and abortionist Aqua Don Emmanuel Umoren apparently lied when charting that an 8-wk, 4-day-old baby was seen on ultrasound and palpated on internal exam, going on to commit an unnecessary abortion. The mother ended up in the emergency room 25 days later and had to have a fallopian tube and her 13-wk-old baby removed. She maintains in her lawsuit she is now infertile.

This was just one of probably hundreds of abortion botches we wouldn’t otherwise know about were there not a lawsuit.

But the number botches we do know about through emergency ambulance calls to U.S. Planned Parenthood  clinics is alarming – 10 over the course of only 20 months. This volume certainly does not bode well for the supposed safety of legalized abortions.

Super Bowl graphic abortion ad campaign expands

Since I wrote a week ago that Randall Terry’s dream of airing graphic abortion ads during the 2012 Super Bowl was becoming a reality, liberals and MSM nationally and internationally have been abuzz with the story. Terry reports ad contributions have been rolling in. He is eligible as a presidential candidate to purchase ads in […]

Millions of conservative women leading the battle to take back America

The Lord gives instructions. The women who announce the good news are a large army. ~ Psalm 68:11   I attended Smart Girl Summit 2011 in St. Louis over the weekend and learned an interesting point to ponder. I’ve attended a few local Tea Party rallies but haven’t been intimately involved in the movement. What […]

Busy week!

It has been Vacation Bible School week at my church, meaning we’ve had 4 of our 6-1/2 grandsons visiting the past several days! This should explain my absence without my having to say another word! Wow, I don’t know how I raised 3 kids of my own and got anything other than caring for them […]

Jivin J’s Life Links 7-13-11

by JivinJ, host of the blog, JivinJehoshaphat Noemie Emery in the Washington Examiner on how “choice” language has quieted pro-choicers when it comes to sex-selection abortion: Why not? It’s a “choice” – and choices, of course, must never be questioned, no matter to what ends they lead. Late-term abortion? Terrific. Infant dismemberment? Hardly a problem. […]

About face: Lilith Fair dumps pregnancy care centers as charities but keeps maternity homes

Net gain for the sanctity of preborn human life. I Lilith Tour organizers had decided to keep several pregnancy care centers and maternity homes on its list of prospective women’s charities to receive proceeds from its multi-city concert tour this summer. Well, that lasted a whole blink of an eye….
