Abortion pill “spa” aims to erase stigma with bathrobes and tea

by Kelli At Carafem, staff members plan to greet clients with warm teas, comfortable robes and a matter-of-fact attitude. “We don’t want to talk in hushed tones,” said Carafem president Christopher Purdy. “We use the A-word.”… Because Carafem will offer only the abortion pill, not vacuum aspiration or other surgical procedures, prospective clients must be […]

3D technology helping to advance pro-life message

by Carder No matter how hard they try, abortion advocates cannot hide from the technology that will continue to make their arguments moot. The latest business to capitalize on the advances in ultrasound technology may not be one every parent longs to patronize, but it is another reminder of the reality of life in the […]

AZ abortionist whines: “We are suffering here”

by Kelli At the time, it was a doctors office. And then I started doing abortions in my office. I was kind of thinking about it, and one of my family practice patients had an unplanned pregnancy. I told her, ‘if you want to come back in two days, we can do it, like any […]

  • In First Things, Clarke Forsythe discusses how the Supreme Court helped create abortionists like Kermit Gosnell:

Because the Justices foolishly believed that abortion had few risks, and that abortion providers should have complete discretion to decide how to perform abortions in the first trimester, the Justices said that state and local officials could not regulate them in the first trimester. • The Washington Post has an article on Allegheny Reproductive Health Center abortion clinic and abortion history in Pennsylvania. Interestingly, writer Sarah Kliff fails to mention why the state of PA passed a law in 2011 which “requires surgical abortion clinics to become certified as ambulatory surgical centers and meet other rules.” Wouldn’t want to bring up Kermit Gosnell, eh?

Thanks to pro-lifers Michelle Wolven and Catherine Davis, a small group of us have been on this story for weeks.

While Michelle and Catherine were digging through online records of Georgia abortion clinics, they stumbled on the fact that Attorney General Eric Holder’s wife Sharon Malone Holder (both pictured right) co-owns with her sister an Atlanta area abortion clinic building.

The building is located at 6210 Old National Highway, College Park, Georgia.

The business itself is called Old National GYN. Click on deed above and see below…

Pro-life princess bride

I met Katie Walker several years ago when she was communications director for American Life League. She moved on in 2011 to the same position at Catholic Charities for the Diocese of Arlington.

Meanwhile, Katie’s personal life took a storybook turn.

WashPo confirms but can’t “fathom” Obama’s Born Alive votes

Ohden said that Obama “voted to deny basic Constitutional protections for babies born alive from an abortion.” This is true in the sense that the Illinois bills would have guaranteed certain protections for these infants. But Ohden’s claim lacks context: Obama’s objections to the bill suggest that he wasn’t so much bent on denying rights […]
