Big Brother: Natalie’s abortions
I find the MTV-type youth reality shows heart-breaking and disgusting. I’ve just been told of a CBS show in that genre, Big Brother.
BB airs 3x a week during primetime. Its storyline: Group mostly young strangers together in a house, follow their every move, and over the course of 3 months whittle housemates down to 1 winner as they vote one another out. Sexual escapades abound, of course.
One of the current crop is 28-year-old Natalie.
We learned on a recent episode that Natalie lactates. Why? She said it started when she became pregnant at 19 and aborted 2 months later.
Her timing is way off, leading me to believe Natalie aborted much later or has a secret nursing child stashed somewhere.
But so Nat’s story goes, after her abortion her breasts shrank to such an extent (“grapes”) she decided to get breast implants at age 23. Only the night before her surgery, she found out she was pregnant again….
So she and the father of her 2nd baby (not the father of her 1st) devised a plan to fill a condom with his urine so she would pass the next morning’s required pre-op pregnancy screen. Natalie got her 2nd abortion 2 weeks later. She claimed to have been on birth control and using a condom for both pregnancies.

In another clip I won’t post, Natalie demonstrated she wasn’t lying about her ability to lactate.
In a previous BB, Amber, a former meth addict, revealed she had faked 2 of 4 abortions to keep her boyfriend.
I’m really not understanding a certain segment of today’s youth. They’re frightening and repulsive, totally desensitized to acts of horror.

Oh, and Natalie is a liar. You don’t just start lactating the minute you become pregnant. She either had the abortion when the baby was almost to term or has a baby stashed somewhere like you said. My mom lost a baby at 6 months and she would lactate whenever she thought about the baby. Something doesn’t add up here. She either had the baby or had a late-term abortion. I didn’t start lactating til my daughter was born. Some people are different in that area, but I hardly doubt her milk starting coming in WHEN she found out she was preggo.
This girl looks and acts like a nut! I think the group agreed. Did you see their faces? She’s disgusting.

On the flip side*** I was never a big fan of Carrie Underwood, but she did a song called “Jesus Take The Wheel.” It turns out, the video is cool AND pro life! I’d heard the song, but I’d never really payed attention to the lyrics. Her video brought tears to my eyes. What a beautiful and classy young lady!…This is the kind of gal that young girls should look up to.
It’s funny how the guy is the only one that says, “So what happened to the baby?”
And by funny I mean interesting that he was the only one wondering about you know, the baby. Since she was only worried about her boobs obviously.
Remember, the key words are SOCIOPATH and narcissistic.
I’m reminded of the pithiest sentence I’ve come across thus far in Dawn Eden’s book, The Thrill of the Chaste:
“Television hates you.”

Look at Natalie’s biography. She wants honesty in a man. Why? Do liars like her deserve honest men? Her man must love Jesus and God——– Heaven help!
They should have also included in Natalie’s biography that she is delusional.

Me thinks she probably has a kid and lied about it so it wouldn’t keep her from getting put on the show. Or she has some funky hormonal thing causing her to lactate. Even if she had a late-term abortion, unless she was pumping, the lactation would have ceased within a month or so.
The WHOLE story sounds like bull. I mean, how the hell was she walking around a doctors office with a condom full of pee? Pee is acidic – theres no way the condom would have remained leak-free over night and in to the next day. Not to mention (sorry if this is gross), but having worked in a medical office for years, when you take a urine sample cup from a patient, it has a certain amount of warmth to it – and if it isnt warm – people get suspicious.
Most of the girls who end up on those reality shows are failed actresses and models trying to get attention. BB was originally a UK show, and has been replicated all over Europe – where there is no censorship on TV, making it, at times, literally hardcore porn.
Maybe she never really had an abortion. Perhaps she was going for shock value, but this seems to be the way girls discuss abortion today. As though it were like going to the dentist. Either way, Natalie seems emotionally disturbed…or just a bad actress.
Yeah, Natalie sounds like one of those people who makes stuff up for attention. My brother’s gf (well maybe ex-gf now) used to tell me all these stories about people, and then I’d go and ask them if it was true and they were like HELL NO! She is such a liar, she also used to fake injuries a lot..like right before a musical or show we would be in, she would pretend like she got hurt. One time, somebody said to her, “You better sit down before your pretend to get hurt.” Lol. funniest.thing.I’ve.ever.heard.

I heard you can start lactating if you are constantly touching and squeezing your breast. For some reason mine have been growing lately. I’m not pregnant (got my period this morning) but people are starting to notice. Like my Grandma.
I have a guy friend who lactates. It’s weird as heck.
I like Carrie Underwood too, actually- though I prefer belting out “Think Before He Cheats” driving my car at 80 mph down the highway.
And finally, Big Brother is just plain stupid. I have no CLUE how it’s lasted so long. The kids are all actors, and they intentionally make it as provocative as humanly possible. And this isn’t really a ‘youth’ show, either- it appeals to that same daytime crowd that watches Springer, except at prime time. Lots of ‘guilty pleasure’ watchers.

wow, this story is just WIERD on so many levels!!! First off I love how Miss Natalie declares she loves God and takes her bible with her everywhere …. but then proceeds to (almost brag, really) about her repeated abortions, etc, What in the World?!?!??!! Maybe she just CARRIES her bible with her but hasn’t OPENED it up yet?
Secondly, as a woman who’s had two babies I also find it very difficult to believe you would begin lactating just a few weeks into a pregnancy. When my son was stillborn at almost 20weeks I only produced a tiny bit of milk for like 2days, then nothing. So I agree w/ the rest of you that her story just doesn’t really add up.
But then again, the details really don’t matter one bit … the bottom line is that this show is the kind of morally-inept TV trash that is helping to poison our society. How sad are we when THIS becomes our acceptable entertainment?

I don’t think we necessary view it as acceptable..but we as a society take some pleasure in viewing other people’s personal train-wrecks. That is what has become sad.
If Natalie squirted milk from her nipple, she may have had some hidden device. I don’t know, because we can’t see that part. Kind of like KISS and their fake mouth blood packets.

I hardly believe this girl could have actually squirted it from her nipple. It doesn’t really work that way unless you’re REALLY engorged…as in you haven’t nursed your baby for the whole day or something. Then it gets built up and can squirt out like that.
And yes, I am aware I know far too much about this…I did breastfeed for 2 years though.

I do agree…although at times, I do watch reality tv. I guess I just can’t believe people would actually act in such a way for the whole world to see. It’s like a car accident..I don’t want to look…but I.just.can’t.help.it. sometimes.
Some Reality TV is okay. I agree with that. This just wouldn’t be my cup of tea. Also, I’d imagine that it would attract a lot of teen viewers. That’s not a good thing.

One more thing about Reality TV. Most of it is scripted.
Well, I don’t know if it is so farfetched that she lactates. Depending on how far the pregnancy was for the second abortion, I could see this happening with the right birth control pill. A former neighbor still lactated for a couple of years after having her son, whom she didn’t breastfeed. However, she was on a bc pill.
Since some bc causes the body to think it’s pregnant, perhaps it’s not too farfetched for it to fool her body into lactating as if deep in pregnancy, especially if there is frequent stimulation of the breasts.
Now, I don’t care one whit about Natalie, and she very well could be lying, but birth control can really mess up some women’s body chemistry. Perhaps Natalie is one of those women.
I think she’s lying, but if anything, it wasn’t BC that messed her up, it was probably that surgery she shouldn’t have had when she was pregnant. And she knew they were going to say no and cheated the urine sample anyway!
What kind of dimwit would you have to be to think “Well, I can get it even though the doctor thinks it’ll be bad for me.” You don’t cheat tests just so you can get what you want when you want it.

We have become a society so devoid of moral substance that we’ll watch anything…and the raunchier it is, the more viewers it gets.
We send the message to the younger generation that life is cheap and disposable, morals are “passe”, you can do or say whatever you want and there are no consequences, everything has a “fix”, if it feels good do it, being mean and cruel is cool, imbecile celebrities are to be emulated and revered, God is “so yesterday”, all that is important in this life is me me me. Mike, it’s always “me” to some extent, even if one is insisting on God and one’s morals. I’ve seen you comment on the public fascination with celebrity before, and that cycles up and down within societies, though in this day and age of instantaneous communication we’re more easily exposed to it. I’ve read that the average American teenager is seeing roughly 3,000 commercial messages – advertising in some form or another, every day. This is a genie that can’t be stuffed back in the bottle, in my opinion.

Well, there’s always somebody looking around and bemoaning the state of things. From the time of the ancient Egyptians there are writings that boil down to, “We’re going to hell in a handbasket.”
From my perspective, many US kids get less exercise than is good, and are spending less time on the development that will help them succeed for the rest of their lives. And I’m sure that people from prior centuries would have felt that I was coddled excessively in my own childhood.
After the Depression in the 1930’s there was quite a sea-change as far as a turning away from the “wild” stuff of the roaring 20’s, the reliance on debt, etc. If anything, I’d say we are headed for some sort of similar change in the future – hard economic times and a declining standard of living forcing people to change, rather than the pretty much continually “better and better” of the past decades. I think the pendulum has again swung well over to the 1920’s side, though with the housing/mortgage “crisis” it may be reversing.
It does seem odd to me, kids having their own cell phones and TVs and computers in their bedrooms, etc. I know many don’t, but many do – heck, it was a big deal for my family to get the first little old used black-and-white TV we ever had.
I’ve been to Italy twice with my wife, and over there it seems that upon turning 12 years old, kids are issued 2 cell phones and 50 cartons of cigarettes.

I watched some of the first season of ‘Survivor,’ but tired of it, and here the darn thing is still going, many seasons later. Well, I never thought that ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’ would survive, let alone be a hit.

I have been reading a book about the ancient near-east, and there is a translation of a Sumerian writing that is basically a father’s lament about how irresponsible and careless his son is. The more things change…
Also, I feel sorry for Natalie. She’s obviously got some major issues. I (unfortunately) watched a couple clips of her on this show, and I just wanted to get her into therapy immediately. That poor girl is seriously messed up.

Well, folks…I never watched reality shows after the first Survivor aired….But remember, they’re going to cast the most outrageous and obnoxious people to get more reactions on-camera….
So lying, drug-addicted, promiscuous people would be the norm.
I dunno, there are some reality shows I actually like. My family has been loyal watcher of survivor since season one- it’s more of a family thing than anything else. The latest season is stupid and asinine and just generally ridiculous, but we watch it anyway.
Also, I want to go on the show “Amazing Race” with my mom. We’d totally rock on that show.

Well, speaking of being gay, at school today the freshmen had a meeting about bullying with our school’s Team Harmony and Teasing and Bullying Task Force, regarding how to respond, reporting it, not letting it continue, etc etc.
Well, I guess at one point they were taking questions/comments or whatever. And all the sudden a girl, after being addressed, stands up, shouts “I’m a lesbian” in front of her whole 3/400 member class, coming out right there, and burst into tears. That’s probably the most “exciting” thing that happened at the high school today. Immediately afterwards one of the teachers ran over to her and began consoling her etc. Im trying to imagine how hard that must have been, what would have provoked it, and just how awe-inspiring that is that she could get the courage up to do that.

How do any of you know that on Natalies path in life she didnt find the love of Jesus Christ and enjoys the warmth of his forgiveness? It always suprises me how judgmental some people can be while they call them selves Christians.

Hey “not nearly so pious”… I certainly do believe in the power and forgiveness of God, and I hope Natalie has found that, but my problem is I wish she would have just kept her past to herself. It negatively influences people against God and that is sad. Personally, I think Natalie has some issues.

You can lactate without ever being pregnant. If your hormone – prolatic – elevates, this causes your body to take on pregancy symptoms – how do I know – I know because I am a 44 year old woman who has been lactating for 6 years and I have NEVER been pregnant.
