Tiller, terror, and tv tilt
American Life League’s new video report, released yesterday, focuses on the ludicrous accusation by pro-aborts and their friends in the media of corporate pro-life responsibility for the shooting of late-term abortionist George Tiller. ALL shows many tv clips to make its point, including one by Keith Olbermann lambasting yours truly.
ALL then turns the tables, exposing liberal media hypocrisy that ignores vast pro-abortion threats and violence.

Will these people ever give it a rest? I pointed out on another thread about 7 Detroit teenagers gunned down outside summer school. Outrage anyone? Has anyone on this blog even heard about it? Two other teenagers were gunned down a few nites before that, one is dead. Any TV specials concerning these schoolchildren?
PL people shouldn’t dignify this stupidity with a response of any kind. Let them rant all they want. Its obvious our opponents can’t contain themselves when they have a perceived martyr for their cause, so let’s not worsen their confusion with the facts. Sooner or later even they will tire of listening to themselves.

I listen to radio news mostly, and no, I hadn’t heard about the Detroit shootings. The seven teens were not killed, according to the report I read. I’m not surprised it wasn’t reported nationwide. Unfortunately inner city violence goes unnoticed by anyone except those in the immediate neighborhood.

“Imam Abdullah El-Amin, who co-owns the Numan Funeral Home near the intersection where the shooting took place, said drug-dealing, prostitution and “hopelessness” are common in the area, he said.
“It’s terrible that these things are just laying there, festering, in society – time bombs waiting to happen,” said El-Amin, a Muslim minister and candidate for Detroit City Council.
It is shameful that people have to live in these conditions in this great country of ours. Where’s Jesse Jackson? Where’s President Obama? Oprah?

Three of the seven teens were critically injured so what exactly that means I’m not certain. There may yet be fatalities.
You’re right about the situation in that area. Maybe these folks who are putting on this program about Tiller could better spend their time and energy addressing real problems. Who knows, they might actually perform an important public service.

I’m talking about the video Jill mentions in her article above.
The video referred to the all the media hype over Tiller’s death and the alleged PL “connection” to it and I was responding to that specifically. I thought MSNBC would never give it a rest and don’t know if they have yet.
At the same time, PL people should stop defending ourselves once and for all on this issue, it only dignifies the stupidity of people who choose not to be confused with the facts. I have mixed feelings about the above mentioned video for this reason.
As far as I’m concerned Tiller is dead and buried and there are far more pressing concerns at this time.
After I watched this video I had to find some clips of my favorite Martin Luther King, Jr. speeches. I needed something positive to feel like changing an entire world bred to hate and dehumanize is a plausible and possible task.

We livee in a crazy world in which the death of a drug addicted alledged pedophile is worthy of 24/7 coverage. I have heard there have been suicides as a result of his death, dont know how accurate that is.
It will be a complete circus when they have his funeral on Saturday. I heard the family wants to have it at Neverland and that thousands and thousands will be coming.

Proaborts depend upon finding ways to distract us, and change the subject. Tiller the Killer’s being killed provided them with the perfect way to change the subject away from the slaughter of babies.
“Look at that poor doctor in Kansas”, they say, in hopes that no one will remember that same “doctor” bragged about killing 60,000 babies.
I agree totally that no prolifer should feel any need to apologize to any proabort over this act. And I will not.

All the clinics? That seems unusual they’d close all the clinics at once unless they’re really hurting for money that bad or maybe they’re mergering and planning to build another super clinic.
