And if you guys missed it, out congressman Alan Grayson(D)held a townhall this past Monday. Check out how slick he was:
-He held it in a union hall.
-He posted the announcement 24 hours before the event.
-A Democratic something-or-the-other meeting was held an hour before the scheduled townhall. The vast majority attending that meeting stayed for the townhall, so the room was stacked.
-The room only held 125 people.
-Only 30 or so oppposition folks were allowed in.
-Meanwhile, the police had to close down the street where close to a thousand protestors were outside chanting. At times they were so loud that it interrupted what the good congressman had to say.
-Was told that he did answer a good balance of for/against/undecided questions.
-He brought three of his children in so as to prevent “outbursts” during the meeting.
Winners, all of them.
