The ad makes use of a rhetorical tactic known as a “pathetic appeal,” meaning it employs pathos, an appeal to people’s emotions. Jessen discusses her own history and calls for Obama to recognize her “right to live,” putting an emotional face on a political issue. Other material on the subject, like columns by anti-abortion crusader and BornAliveTruth.org founder Jill Stanek, rely on affecting descriptions of grisly post-abortion scenes.
Calling up strong emotions is often a very effective way of swaying one’s audience. But such ads ask the viewer to feel rather than to think. Telling a heart-rending story and telling the whole story aren’t always the same thing.

No surprise here. This is the same man who announced he would suspend his campaign because his grandmother was gravely ill. He justified this sacrificial act by telling us his mother had died in his absence and he did not want to repeat that mistake with his grandmother.
Then B.O. waited three days before flying to see his gravely ill grandmother. It is a good thing she was not waiting on him to bring her pain medication.
B.O. had a chartered jet at his disposal to fly him anywhere in the world he wanted to go.
This gravely ill grandmother is the one whom B.O. accused of being a bigot in order to distract attention from his racist pastor, Jeremiah Wright.
B.O. can remember her racists comments from his childhood, (something none of her fellow co-workers could recall, some who worked with her for more than 10 years) but B.O. cannot recall ever hearing Wright, his leftist liberal race baiting pastor saying any thing untoward in the previous 12 years B.O. spent in Jermiah’s church.
B.O. said he could no more disown Wright than his favorite uncle and then a mere few weeks later B.O. throws the ever ranting Wright under his campaign bus when Jeremiah refuses to control his loose lips.
This B.O. is the same man who comes striding out of the White House, his nose held high, completely indifferent to another of his liberal leftist racist buddies Henry Louis Gates, whom B.O. has known longer than Jeremiah Wright, completely indifferent to the physically impaired Gates struggle to get down the stairs.
It is not like Gates disability could have escaped B.O.’s notice. The police officer whom Gates had falsely accused of racial profiling and whom B.O. condemned as ‘acting stupidly’ when he arrested the rude and condescending Gates just days before, was both intelligent and considerate enough to assist Gates down the steps.
And finally this B.O. is the same man who voted at least four times against a bill that would have required premature infants born alive in the course of a abortion to be afforded the same health care an infant of equal gestation would receive who was not a victim of failed attempt on his life.
Yes,this is the B.O., the man who is more catholic than the Pope.
I asked my 80 year old uncle, who would wait three days to go see their gravely ill relative?
My uncle said Jesus waited three days before HE went to see Lazarus.
I said I know Jesus, HE is a friend of mine and B.O. is no Jesus.
And while Jesus is credited with raising Lazurus from the dead (withou the assistance of the state or the taxpayer), B.O.’s singular talent seems to be more in the administation of death using someone elses money.

Obama was an enabler of those who denied medical care to real live people. We are supposed to trust him with our health care system?
