Jivin J’s Life Links 10-28-09
by JivinJ
The girl, who apparently asked Harrison to beat her up because her boyfriend threatened to break up with her if she didn’t get rid of the child, was originally sentenced to juvenile detention was released after a judge ruled that she was seeking an abortion and therefore couldn’t be criminally liable…
The girl, who wasn’t identified because she was a juvenile, pleaded no contest in June to a second-degree felony count of criminal solicitation to commit murder. Juvenile Court Judge Larry Steele ordered her to be placed in the custody of Utah Juvenile Justice Services until she was 21.
But Steele this month had the girl released from jail after ruling that she was seeking an abortion and was therefore not criminally liable.
Steele called the girl’s actions “shocking and crude” in a ruling. But he said that under state law, “a woman who solicits or seeks to have another cause an abortion of her own unborn child cannot be criminally liable.”
A YouTube video [shown below] of the contest instructions shows how to print a poster of Reid and Pelosi and construct a stand for it. The clip shows a person dousing the Democratic leaders’ images with flammable liquid. The next scene shows their picture going up in flames. People are then encouraged to take pictures, record and submit online the footage of their Oct. 31 protests.
Disgusting.
According to Liberal reasoning, how can they punish the 21 year old? He was the abortionist and there is nothing wrong with that. His only “crime” was that he didn’t finish the job. Maybe that is why they are really punishing him . . .
wow… I really thought even Randall Terry was above this. And that girl’s lisp is SO annoying! I liked that ‘don’t take no for an answer’ part. I laughed even though I really wanted to throw up.
That video is the absolute worst display of “Christianity” I have ever seen.
I believe in the Judgment of God. I’ve been studying different aspects of it off and on for about 30 years. Dr. Maurice Rawlings is a cardiologist who did not believe in God until he conducted numerous interviews with his patients that were clinically dead and he was able to resuscitate.
God’s Judgment is not something to take lightly.
Pelosi and Reid are acting like sinners because they are…sinners. They are lost and need to be prayed for fervently, witnessed to with compassion, and when appropriate, given a strong, solemn warning or rebuke (like the Bishop did for Kennedy).
“As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, I take no pleasure in the death of wicked people. I only want them to turn from their wicked ways so they can live. Turn! Turn from your wickedness… Why should you die?” Eze 33:11
These so-called Christians show the same calloused disregard for the eternal welfare of Reid and Pelosi that an abortionist does toward his victims.
Do they actually think that this is an appropriate Christian response to a lost and dying world?
Your right JivinJ, they do our cause a disservice.
Amen Ed! Thank you for speaking truth so clearly.
Randall Terry- you are simply unbelievable. :O

-Technically, seems like his crime is attempting to perform an abortion without a medical license and causing intentional bodily harm to the girl.
Randall Terry continues to embarrass the pro life movement with his tactics. Its no wonder certain groups think pro lifers are wacko!
I do have to wonder why Mr. Terry became Catholic. He’s an embarrassment to Catholics, too, I’d say.
This case of the Utah girl hiring someone to beat her up so her unborn baby dies is so sad. She valued her boyfriend more than the baby in her womb. According to the AP article, she is currently seeking custody of the baby. Can’t wait to see how the judges handle that. Sorry for the crass response, but they should laugh her out of the courtroom and send her to counseling.
And I bet the boyfriend broke up with her ANYWAY…that’s usually the case. :(
Maybe we should call our local stores and ask them to NOT participate in this ridiculous stunt by making the prints of Reid and Pelosi.
Terry needs to get a life. Did you notice how close to her house the girl was when dousing the cardboard with lighter fluid? These are brilliant people.
Well said, ED. :)
At least someone is out there telling the truth about what will happen to them if they don’t change their ways. He also said that he prays that they will not burn in hell. I guess you missed that though.
Kathy, I’m thinking it’s you who’s missing something.
So, let me get this straight: the way to evangelize someone and help them to turn to Christ is… to burn them an effigy??
Yes, let’s mock them for Halloween, making fun of the fact that if they don’t repent (as we ALL must), they’ll end up in Hell. Let’s invite all our friends and laugh… and then we can pretend we’re pious by adding “Oh, but, of course, I’ll PRAY for them!”
This is jaw-droppingly stupid, insincere, and hateful.
Very, very hateful of Randall Terry. I would not want to be associated with him in any way.
She valued her boyfriend more than the baby in her womb.
She even valued him more than her own physical safety.
The Genesis curse on Eve: “You shall yearn for your husband and he will lord it over you.”
The only way to counter such destruction is to make Christ the Lord of one’s life.
She valued her boyfriend more than the baby in her womb.
“She even valued him more than her own physical safety.”
Louise,
It makes me wonder if she was suffering from depression when she decided to pay a man to beat her up. I think a psychological test for depression should be given to every woman who walks into a clinic for an abortion. I’d think that true feminist would want a woman to be able to make the most rational decision possible since it is one only she and her doctor can make.
Wouldn’t a doctor (for example, an abortionist or an OB/GYN) be derelict in his duties if he supports a potentially depressed woman’s request for an abortion or actually performs it? Maybe someone knows, has a doctor ever been sued for this? Has the doctor been found guilty? He should be guilty of negligence, IMHO.
I don’t agree with mandating a pyschological evaluation for every woman walking into the clinic, but for starters they could higher people that are actually qualified counselors (such as a bachelor’s in social work or higher), instead of political activists and inexperienced individuals with in-clinic “training” and offer more in-depth counseling than just “Do you want an abortion today?” such as social-work type counseling to address the client’s familial and partner support system, belief system, socio-economic situation, coercion, and any other concerns the woman may have. A poll was taken on the PASS Support Board and while there were women satisfied with the quality and amount of counseling they received beforehand, most of the women reported the so-called pre-abortion counseling was poor and lacking.
Jivin J, what is your plan to overturn Roe? When was the last (or for that matter, the first) time you lead any kind of protest that garnered the attention of national media to abortion? Have you ever retracted your slander against Randall Terry pertaining to Brother Paul’s public but unsubstantiated claim to have stolen 20K from the Schindlers? (NO!) Where is your Christian ethics, in allowing someone to make fun of a woman’s “lisp”?
wow… I really thought even Randall Terry was above this. And that girl’s lisp is SO annoying! I liked that ‘don’t take no for an answer’ part. I laughed even though I really wanted to throw up.

I guess if it serves your need, it doesn’t matter to you. You had your 15 minutes of fame doing what you did, but Jivin J, you are a one trick pony, and are making a good living off of it. It’s a shame that you don’t follow up with a REAL you tube video of the REAL horrors of REAL babies dying due to neglect from the medical field, and protected by the wimpy politicians that have nothing better to do than criticize those putting in REAL efforts in ending legalized child killing. This is evidenced with this AP quote by Steny Hoyer:
But House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., called the contest “unfortunate.”
“I don’t think appealing to people’s anger and in effect inciting them to acts which either display or in any way project violent acts is consistent with rational discussion of very critical issues,” Hoyer told reporters. (AP story from October 27, 2009)
Jivin J, you are colluding with the enemy and playing into their hands by dictating the terms of what is “civilized”. Let’s get this straight, Hoyer, a very pro death democrat, thinks nothing of the REAL slaughter of the most innocent human beings, and has a ‘cow’ over burning effigies of politicians that CREATED AND SUSTAIN this problem, and thinks somehow these two are morally equivalent? And seriously wants to use the term “rational discussion of a very critical issue”? And you go along with it? There is a wonderful job awaiting you in Babylon.
Jivin J, clean up your own act and get into a REAL leadership role, or do everyone a favor, and stay quiet and go to the back of the bus.
