Almost aborted: Tenor Andrea Bocelli
Just posted on YouTube on June 1 is a video of famed Italian (and blind) tenor Andrea Bocelli telling a “little story” about a mother to whom doctors recommended abortion after she was treated for appendicitis.
Of course, this was Bocelli’s own mother, and he says in the video he is sharing his story to encourage mothers in difficult pregnancies….
Bocelli’s video is a project of IAmWholeLife.com (and .org), which is sponsored by pro-life stalwarts Eduardo Verastegui, Jason Jones, and former Miss America Angela Perez Baraquio.
I’ve emailed video producers asking for the backstory on this video, and if I hear anything back, I’ll post an update.

Beautiful!
Nice!
If anyone has little kids, my daughter loves this video of Andrea Bocelli singing Elmo to sleep. His voice is so gorgeous!

This video brought tears to this Italiano-american’s eyes. Grazie for posting it.
There is talent and then there is talent. I love to listen to his concerts on LPB. His music speaks to my soul. Thanks Jill.
What a wonderful testamony and compliment to his mother (calling her “Brave” and everything). :-)
GOD BLESS ANDREA BOCELLI! What a great pro-life testimony
