The Left is furious with President Obama for what it sees as a betrayal and surrender on the tax cut/unemployment extension compromise he reached with Republicans (many of whom are reconsidering their support as it balloons into “Stimulus II” or the “Christmas Tree deal”).
This week liberal political cartoonists portrayed Obama as a shoeshine boy (isn’t that racist?), doormat, punching bag, and simply politically inept. A few examples…

It’s okay for white liberals to portray a black president as a shoeshine boy, just so long as they put a GOP button on the person asking for the shine. It just has to be reciprocal slander. That’s what white liberals are all about.

What else can one expect? It was liberal Democrat Bill Clinton who suggested that a year before the election, Obama would have been serving him and Hillary their coffee. And wasn’t it liberal Democrat Harry Reid who spoke of a light skinned Negro with no Negro dialect.
Also, who obsesses over the racial component of the Tea Party? Bingo. Liberal Democrats.
Only proves what I have long maintained: Those who are the first and loudest to condemn the (bigotry, racism, intolerance) of others are the people most blind to their own.

Remember when Joe Biden remarked about Senator Obama:
“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”
Only in the Democrat Party can a white man denigrate an entire race of people like that by stating that Obama was the FIRST mainstream African American to be articulate, bright, clean, and nice looking, then inderscore it by stating that such a collection of traits in a black person is “STORYBOOK”, and become the Vice President of the United States.
What kills me is that the whole fight is presented as “pro-rich” Republicans versus “anti-rich” Democrats.
The Republicans want EVERYBODY to keep as much of the money they earn as possible. The Democrats want to take money from “the richest 2%” and give it to … OTHER RICH PEOPLE in the form of “green” “tax credits”.
Who gets rich from ethanol subsidies? Not Joe the Plumber, that’s for sure.
Who gets rich from “green energy” subsidies? FOREIGN companies like Gamesa.
The Dems aren’t even being Robin Hood, taking from the rich and giving to the poor. They’re being … Words fail me. Is there a folk hero ever who stole from the rich to give to the other rich?
