The Strasbourg, France, court… actually made clear that it was not recognizing a right to abortion….
Ordinarily I would not devote a column to the decision of a non-U.S. court, in the jurisprudence of which I claim no particular expertise. But as I finished reading this opinion, I had the eerie feeling that I was peering into a domestic future….

This just illustrates the powerful effect of a strong Pro-life stance. It can cause others to come to their senses and stop the killing.

The comments on her blog are disturbing. They use the same alarmist language and slogans over and over again. No scientific facts, no real examination into the issue of abortion. WHY did women seek abortions in the past? They were stigmatized if they were unmarried. They were desperate. They were afraid. We don’t live in that world anymore….You don’t have to sacrifice your child in order to get a college degree. The pro-abortion mindset is frightening; there is no logic and no proof, and no rationale. Just “men are trying to control women and keep them pregnant.” That’s a load of bull. I’m a woman. I cannot possibly fathom how ripping my child from my womb is an act of liberty. Pro-lifers don’t want to enslave them; ABORTION enslaves women. It hurts women, it kills their babies, and it is inexcusable. What about the baby’s body, the baby’s bodily autonomy? This isn’t women’s health, this is pure destruction. It isn’t medicine, it’s KILLING. The majority of abortions are committed on healthy women with healthy babies. Abortion is anti-feminist. When will they wake up and see this? How obtuse and selfish and ignorant can they be?
Women are still desperate, afraid, forced and coerced to abort.
Yes, Carla, they are. Except now they’re told that when they’re “EMPOWERED.”
