Summit and citrus
Hi! Am still writing you from Florida and will be through April 3.
… I’m spending today at Ave Maria University for the second annual pro-life leaders’ summit, spearheaded by Fr. Frank Pavone of Priests for Life.
Pictured right are Fr. Pavone and Tom Monaghan, the founder of AMU as well as Domino’s Pizza, welcoming the group this morning.
… Moderator Carder, who lives in FL, was so kind to give us a lovely gift of citrus fruit from her father’s back yard!
Pictured left is a bowl of Carder’s juicy fruit – grapefruit, lemons, oranges, and tangerines.
… Hubby Rich and I have been “camping” with my parents. I use that term loosely since our home away from home is a travel trailer complete with a microwave and cable tv, far different than the tents we slept in as a kid. I must say as an adult I like this style of camping better.
I also certainly like speaking at coastal pro-life fundraising events! Last night it was for the outstanding Collier Pregnancy Centers. How often does the backdrop for one of our functions look like the photo on the right? :)

The grapefruits were a little too sour, right?
There’s no such thing as a grapefruit that is too sour… can always add sugar or sweetener!
I love grapefruits…particularly the pink (ruby red, I think they’re called?) ones.
Those in the picture are yellow inside. And most juicy.
