On May 5, Planned Parenthood of Illinois held a “Generations Gala: A Celebration of Healthy Families,” at the Chicago History Museum.

So audacious for American’s largest abortion provider to pretend to “celebrate” nonexistent “generations” and “healthy families,” thanks to it. But that’s PP’s schtick: to claim it stands for the very things it destroys.

PPI’s featured guests were actress Kathy Najimi (right) and Dr. Joycelyn Elders (below, left) former US Surgeon General under President Clinton.

Abiding by my favorite mantra, “No justice, no peace,” Pro-Life Action League sponsored a protest of PPI’s event:

Thanks to the League protest, PP’s guests – including National Organization for Woman attorney Fay Clayton, famous for losing the epic NOW v. Scheidler lawsuit in a unanimous 2006 ruling by the US Supreme Court – had to face the truth about abortion as they entered.

Moreover, passersby larned about PP’s central role in the abortion business…

I attended the protest, bringing our New Zealand visitor, Andy Moore, who you’ll see featured in the subsequent video PLAL put together…

I took the photo below to show PPI’s arriving guests could not avoid seeing that which they were about to “celebrate,” try as they might…
