Reality TV rapper bitter after abortion
Two days ago I went to the abortion clinic and the procedure just left me feeling down and tired. I haven’t spoken to Stevie since he dropped me off to the abortion clinic. And he’s just been blowing up my phone.
I’m still really mad at him. How you gonna sit out there and deny my baby?

And moronic, in my opinion. Stevie’s about as self-centered as they come. And she’s not the brightest bulb, either.
But I guess that’s what passes for “entertainment” nowadays.
Feeling a lack of agency in constructing the world around us is such a banal evil. Like our lives are just something that happens to us. Ironic how “choice” is an attempt to finally assert some control, but the horribly wrong kind. So pitiful.

Because he used her once, and it’s possible he figures he can use her again. After all, it’s just a quick drop-off to the nearest abortion mill and he’s free and clear.
Huh, men are told that abortion is a women’s issue and then when an abortion comes up they leave it to women, weird.
But in happy pro-life land, if this woman had given birth, she and her partner would have lived happily ever after. Seriously, if any two people shouldn’t be parents, at least now, it’s these two. She made the right decision. Any child born of that union would probably get scooped by child protective services. Joseline might have ended up dead, or at best at a shelter for abused women. But right, having that baby will solve everything.
And BTW, Joseline should seek some professional, non-judgmental counseling and not from a “Christian counselor.”

So my friend’s second son (foster child, then adopted) should be dead (rather than living in a good family with 3 brothers, loving parents and grandparents) because his mother was incapable of raising him?
Why don’t you come to one of the family’s back yard parties this summer, look him in the eye and tell him you think he should have been killed?

Tell us exactly what the killing of that baby solves? How do any problems change because a child is killed? Why not say the same about any human? ”But right, allowing grandma another day to live will solve everything.” Idiotic.
Procon, I have invited CC to do the same with my son who others pressured me to abort because I was in a less than ideal circumstances. CC wouldn’t be able to look any of us in the eye because she is a big bully who preys on those who can’t fight back. Deep down maybe she feels she didn’t deserve life.

Of all the ridiculous comments here, this one takes the cake. You had your baby. That was your decision. I have no idea what your circumstances were and are. Once a child is born, it’s up to the woman what she’s going to do. Saying that her offspring shouldn’t have been born is totally inappropriate even if one thinks that an abortion would have been the best option. In the case being discussed here, the abortion seemed to have been the best option.
And what did the “killing” of the baby solve. How bout preventing more dysfunction in already dysfunctional lives? Again, I know you refuse to believe it but for many women, abortion is the best option as it allows them to move on with their lives. For women abused by their partner, it’s a way to make a clean break. For other women, it just makes life easier and who are you to begrudge them that. The reality is that many women don’t regret their abortions.
The reality is that so many women DO regret paying someone to end the life of their child.
The brutal truth is that our children died and so many of us would give ANYTHING to go back and reach for help instead of death.
What you are really stating CC is that women are fine with killing their own children and showing no remorse whatsoever. And you applaud it.

Do you believe that the day will come in which a positive pregnancy test is always a source of joy?
I do. I can’t accept the idea that we must always live in a world in which girls and women dread allowing a pregnancy to take its natural course and pregnancy causes panic.
When all pregnancies are welcomed, abortion will become an anachronism.

I have seen a variation of this same idea usually expressed something like, “Anyone evil enough to kill their own child shouldn’t have children.” I don’t agree with it, of course. but I have heard it.
If killing family members got to the root of dysfunction in my family of origin, there wouldn’t be anyone left.

This is an excellent question Courtnay. I am certain she is both, at least the way Christ would define those terms. It is the same condition that plagues the vast majority of the human race. It is the consequence of sin.
We don’t realize it typically, how depraved the human condition is, because we compare ourselves with each other and have this innate proclivity to justify all of our own actions. Jesus, the Source of True Light for the world, and our only hope, has shown us that if we hate our brother without cause, we are murderers, and if we look at a woman to lust after her, we have already committed adultery in our heart.
Ep 4.17-24 explains how God in His mercy and grace can rescue us from our fallen condition and make us alive in Him:
Now this I say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds. They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart. They have become callous and have given themselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every kind of impurity. But that is not the way you learned Christ!— assuming that you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus, to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
CC, I am not holier than thou. I still battle with sin. But the good news is, in case you are ever interested, that Jesus loves you so very much, and He died to save you, and me and every man, woman, boy and girl so that we could be restored to a right relationship with a Holy God and a Loving Father. All we have to do is turn from our own selfish ways, acknowledge Christ’s sacrifice on the cross for our sins, and make Jesus the Lord of our lives.
Then what He does is so wonderful…words cannot do it justice. He washes over your heart with forgiveness and love. He welcomes you into His family as His little sister, He will fill your heart with Joy and Love and Peace. And because you are His sister, He would give you power and authority to overcome any evil that would come against you.
Making Jesus the Lord of your life would bless you and allow you to pursue your true purpose in life. Jesus said that He came that we would have Life and Life more abundantly.
The benefits last throughout all eternity.
