Pro-life news brief 8-23-12

- Abortion is a reason for gender gap between Republican and Democratic voters? Not so much.
- The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals lifted a temporary injunction which temporarily prevented Texas from eliminating Planned Parenthood from the Texas Women’s Health Program. From this AP article, the average reader would leave with the impression that PP isn’t America’s leading abortion provider but merely “linked,” “tied” to, and “affiliated” with some other unnamed abortion provider.

Someone on another thread was saying that Fox news apparently stated PP does not perform abortions. Is everyone in the media an idiot?

A “gender gap” goes both ways. One politician is relatively more popular with women, another more popular with men. Of course, there is a legitimate argument that popularity with women is especially important because more women vote.

Don’t mess with Texas

Hooray for Texas. Now poor women will have far less access to things like cancer screenings. Yay. More women dying from cervical cancer. Clap hands.

Why, CC? Are other organizations incapable of springing up to deal with this?
The whole “If Planned Parenthood ain’t funded, it’s metaphysically impossible for anyone else to step up” mentality is bizarre. It’s worshipful of PP in a wholly irrational way. It’s negligent of how reality works.
It’s fundamentally political and blind.

So until some other entity “steps up,” poor women in Texas will be without affordable, gynecological care. Nice and very, very “pro-life.” Why do pro-lifers hate poor women?

Did you and mp already have a parting of idiotologies?
I have been riding public transportation for the last two months. About four times a week I walk thru the emergency room area of the Dallas County’s Parkland Hospital.
‘Trust me when I tell you, Texas is taking care of the health care needs of ‘poor women’ of Texas and a good portion of Mexico and Central and South America.
Maybe these ladies are some of those millions of obama ‘Twitterpated’ ones who cannot be accounted for.
More ‘helpless’ little ladies waiting for someone to provide their condoms and recreational drugs.

And now we are being treated to more Simaese catlike ’crooning’ by the likes of Phluck [her pronunciation], Michellman and Wazzzzupuman.

So poor women utilizing emergency rooms for health care are ”More ‘helpless’ little ladies waiting for someone to provide their condoms and recreational drugs? How nice that you mock women who will no longer have access to gynecological care. You positively ooze hatred for women – yet you profess to be an uber Christian. Once again, your commentary demonstrates that you are not very different from Scott Roeder and all his ilk – a fact that, one assumes, you might actually be proud of.
And ”Wazzzzupuman?” I assume your trademark sophomoric word play pertains to Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
I do hope that you are not required to service air-conditioners belonging to pro-choice women or a Planned Parenthood clinic because if rhetoric is any indication of how you really feel, I believe that you are a danger to them.

CuCumber,
I have never made any claims to be a stain glassed saint.
I am just one needful sinner, washed clean in my Savior’s blood and forgiven by HIS grace.
I wood refuse to do anything to that would increase the comfort level for the pimps and madams at pp.
I have an acquaintance who was called to a strip joint to service their a/c system.
Seems the management likes to keep temperature low to make certain parts of the female anatomy stand out.
He suggested they call someone else.
Then there was another tech who was sent to whore’s house to repair her a/c. When he completed the repair she tried to barter with her body for his labor.
He told her even if he were to agree to the deal, she would still have to pay cash for the parts.
[I use the term ‘whore’ in a non-gender specific sense, except where the context clearly identifies the ‘whore’ as male or female.]
I would refuse to repair your a/c.
Not because I believe you to be a ‘whore’, but because your rhetoric reveals you to be one of those fanatical feminazis who would falsely accuse a man of rape.
