The DNC’s abortion monologues: Fluke, Keenan, Richards
We are taught to “know they enemy,” and in that spirit I forced myself to watch these speeches last night. Sitting through them was ridiculously hard, but since none were longer than 10 minutes I got through my self-imposed homework assignment by taking breaks to recover in between.
Being aware of the other side’s latest twisted talking points and strategies is “frankly” (Cecile’s favorite word) smart. So I’m giving you the same homework assignment. Now, now, I can hear you groaning. But we need to be aware. None of these are longer than 10 minutes. You can do this!

Wouldn’t this presentation against the so called Republican War on Women be more complete if Democrat Senator Al Franken discussed his favorite rape fantasy? You know, the one where he ties up a well known television journalist, drugs and rapes her in a closet, and then takes pictures of her in various positions. One feminist troll referred to this as an “indelicate joke”, so what would be wrong with a little racy humor to lighten things up?

Well the Democrats at least displayed their sensitivity and respect for women by having Bill Clinton as keynote speaker, you know the guy that didn’t have sex with “that woman, Miss Lewinsky”. The guy, though completely innocent of flashing, agreed to pay $700,000 to the charity of Paula Jones’ choice and perjured and obstructed justice to damage her case against him. We all know too that lifelong Democrat and Clinton supporter, Kathleen Willey, was lying when she said Clinton sexually abused her in the White House. Never would I believe Juanita Broderick who claimed Clinton raped her.
Oh yes, Clinton was never convicted. Does anyone really believe he would be? That’s because he had his goon squads to trash and destroy any woman who accused him.
We can be thankful we have such outstanding Democrats as Franken and Clinton to set the standard as to how women should be treated. Some needs to set those Republicans straight.

Strange…Kermit Gosnell and Alberto Hodari weren’t referenced as women’s health champions.

Ugh, I work with of some females like this but I will try my best to get through them because Jill asked so nicely.
If you don’t hear from me for the rest of the day, I showered and took to my bed.

Praxedes,
I didn’t make it through. You may need break it into several three minute intervals with multiple showers and catnaps in between to try and forget what you just watched.

Maybe queue up some Gregorian chants in your bedroom to listen to during your breaks…

Last week I smashed the ends of two of my fingers on my right hand which necessitated an ambulance ride to the ER where xrays determined there were fractures in both fingertips. The nails on both fingers will probably grow back.
That experience was minimally uncomfortable compared to the prospect of enduring these three towers of ba-bel.
I took all my anti-biotics as prescribed, but I do have some remaining hydrocodon.
May I be permitted to ingest one of those tablets before ‘leaning in, and taking three knuckleheads for the team?

I can never look at Cecil Richards with a straight face. Every time I see her, all I can think of is how perfect it would be to see her scream “Catch those puppies!!”

Worst homework ever. Couldn’t we just write a 20 page essay instead?

Ken, I’m sorry to hear about your injuries. Hope you are recovering

Cecil said, “My mom spent her entire life working to make things more fair. She believed that the American dream wasn’t just meant for just a few, it promised opportunity for everyone.”
I see denial is a generational disability in Cecil’s case.
I am now more aware. Aware that I enjoyed my lunch more the first time. Thanks Jill! (:

evidence that I witnesse all three bimbo eruptions:
1. phluck [her pronunciation] 6:49 Heavily tanned Scarlett Johanson look-a-like.
2. NARAL gal (near the end) brass tag #720
3. CeCile 4:38- women have to take in ironing

HAL,
Thank you for your expression of concern.
I sufferred no permanent disability and tho the initial pain was intense, numbness set in in just a few minutes, and I have had almost no pain since.
I have not missed any days of work.

Here is the most demonstrably outrageous claim of all:
CeCile @ 4:49- b o …”understands women.”
[That is setting b o above GOD.]
Here is the more likely scenario:

most laughable claim:
phluck [her pronunciation] @ 1:49- “Women are not at the table”,
[under democrats like Bill Clinton and Ted Kennedy ’women’ are on the table, under the table, and/or on the menu as a ‘sandwich’ between two democrat senators.]

most confounding claim:
CeCile 5:24 soon women will not be denied health insurance because we have survived sexual assault.
[Perhaps CeCile ms-spoke. Any body got a clue what she was talking about?

most noticeable phluckup:
CeCile 4:38- “women have to take in ironing”
‘Blacks and women’ have been hardest hit by the continuing recession. I know it has become a cliché but in this instance it is true.
The two segments of the electorate who most heavily supported the obamateur in the 2008 elections are the ones who continue to suffer the most from b o’s and his democrat accomplices ‘solutions’.

Most poignant:
CeCile @ 6:33-7:13- the longest sustained applause for her deceased mother, Ann Richards, the former encumbent democrat governor, who was defeated by ‘W’, a political novice.
If it were ‘republicans’ attempting to pass off this bovine scatulation as serious statesmnship, Ann ‘wrinkles’ Richards would say, ”Don’t go pissin down my leg and try to tell me it’s rainin.”
That pretty much sums up my take on ‘the three moocheketeers’.

Since I saw “Sandy, Sandy, not so dandy” live, I went through the comments as she was blathering. I think Noonon’s column from Wall Street Online quoted to the right had her pretty much “Pegged”.
Keenan: Anaconda, Montana? What experience do they have with serpents that squeeze the life out of you? Oh.
Funny that Praxedes referred to Cecile as Cecil. When I was a kid there was a very low-budget cartoon show called “Cecil the Sea Serpent”. But he was friendly.
I think Cruella deVille is a closer comparison.

Hans,
Are you referring to “Cecil The Seasick Sea Serpent” of “Beanie and Cecil”?
Pamela,
Boy, I think they’re one and the same. We’re talking the very early sixties here, where about my only other memory was of the Capitol Steps for JFK’s inauguration.
I Believe it was “Beanie and Cecil” featuring “Cecil the Seasick Sea Serpent”. I think it was only slightly less low budget (?) than the Hercules cartoon which was just a series of individual cells.

I couldn’t do it. I just couldn’t. I made it through the first minute or two of each one, but that’s all I could stand. Especially “Satanic Cecile’s” :”On behalf of the millions of mothers, wives, daughters, sisters and friends..” she should have finished with “who will never be born, thanks to US. (PP)”.

To pick up on her mother’s famous quote, Cecile was “born with a silver (forked) tongue in her mouth”.

Is N.Keenan religious or is she making up a new creed? (we believe).

Teehee. It’s like you’re implying that anyone who disagrees with you DOESN’T “trust women”, when really we only distrust anyone who would kill a child or side with people who would kill a child.

Thanks to those of you who are at least attempting to watch, even if you need the aid of hydrocodone! I should have warned that the worst was first. Fluke is lame and definitely not ready for the prime time spot bestowed upon her. I thought Keenan was blah, but “frankly” Cecile was masterful. I’m sure the tears for her mother were real, and I think by them we’re given a little insight into what makes her tick – her mom and upholding her mom’s legacy, as awful and wrong as it was.

I never thought of that Jill. Maybe Cecile has never thought that maybe unborn children deserve the chance to love their moms as much as she obviously loved hers.

I watched these speeches on the night they were spoken and none of them struck me as particularly effective.
I hear a few more sermons before I can listen to these three talk again.

I watched the replays of all of them the day after they happened. Sandra Fluke’s was by far the worst. It didn’t help that she started out with an outright lie.
The house hearing on contraception coverage heard from two women:

It just went downhill from there…

…”I’m sure the tears for her [CeCile Richards] mother [Ann Richards] were real,”…
Jill,
Agreed.
But there was little else of authencity that flowed from that fount of lies.
There are liars and then there’s folks like CeCile and the obamateur who make it an art form.
As Hans Johnson so aptly noted at 5:21 pm [and I paraphrase and augment a bit. Close youre eyes and imagine Ann Richards ‘smokers’ voice]
She kaint hepit, CeCile was “born with a silver (forked) tongue in her mouth”.
Any idea what CeCile was talking about @ 5:24 “soon women will not be denied health insurance because we have survived sexual assault.”
Did the martriarchal madam ms-speak?

The polls indicate that Obama has gotten a strong bounce from the convention, so I guess we have to endure this exercise and learn which memes they are going to pursue for the next few weeks.
I got through Fluke’s blather:
– Republicans want to take away all the cancer screenings
– and let women die in the emergency rooms.
– The Congressional hearing on the HHS mandate and religious freedom was really about denying contraception to women everywhere.
– The requirement to inform the woman with an image of her child’s ultrasound was really about raping her.
The rest will have to wait, but I will endure them.
