Obama, Big Bird, and Planned Parenthood
In the history of the United States there has been and there never will be a bigger supporter of Planned Parenthood in the White House than President Barack Obama.
People may wonder whether Obama actually likes Israel, but they will never, ever wonder whether he likes Planned Parenthood.
In fact, truth be told, Obama would obviously rather wear an “I ? Planned Parenthood” pin instead of American flag pin if he could get away with it.
Last night during his debate against Mitt Romney, Obama invoked his sacred cow, Planned Parenthood, five times:
- “We haven’t heard from the governor any specifics [on budget cuts], beyond Big Bird and eliminating funding for Planned Parenthood, in terms of how he pays for that.”
- “When Governor Romney says that we should eliminate funding for Planned Parenthood, there are millions of women all across the country who rely on Planned Parenthood for not just contraceptive care. They rely on it for mammograms, for cervical cancer screenings. That’s a pocketbook issue for women and families all across the country.”
- “You know, there are some things where Governor Romney’s different from George Bush. George Bush didn’t propose turning Medicare into a voucher. George Bush embraced comprehensive immigration reform. He didn’t call for self-deportation. George Bush never suggested that we eliminate funding for Planned Parenthood.”
- “But you should pay attention to this campaign, because Governor Romney’s made some commitments as well, and I suspect he’ll keep those, too. You know, when members of the Republican Congress… said, we’re going to cut Planned Parenthood funding, he said, me too.”
Of course, Planned Parenthood does not perform mammograms, but Obama apparently pays as little attention to detail during his daily Planned Parenthood briefings as he does his daily security briefings.
Obama’s mash-up of Big Bird and Planned Parenthood was comical, exemplifying the worst ridiculosity of politics.
Obviously, despite the pro-life movement’s best attempts to expose Planned Parenthood’s underbelly, Obama’s internal polling must show Planned Parenthood’s brand still scores well with American women.
Either that, or Obama is so obligated to Planned Parenthood for help with his reelection (or PP has something on him), he is continuously compelled to promote the abortion behemoth.

I have a great money saving idea. Let’s keep PP funding, and Big Bird will just go away on his own, for lack of viewers!
”Of course, Planned Parenthood does not perform mammograms…”
I did not see this blatant misrepresentaiton in AOL’s so called ”fact check”. No surprise there. Gee, I wonder why Crowley didn’t jump in there on that.
Barack Obama was Joe Biden-lite last night. Sneering, smirking, heavy on bluster, light on facts. Like Biden he showed no respect toward his rival.
Frank Luntz’s focus group saw through the BS:
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2012/10/16/luntz_focus_group_of_mostly_former_obama_voters_switch_to_romney.html
the feature film ‘Obama2016,’ relates the story of how Obama’s book ‘Dreams of My Father,’ directly relates to his desire to downsize countries he feels are either threats to, or simply not important propagators of, his fathers ideals. Reducing our population is a prime target and key initiative of this blasphemous, compulsive liar and crook. I don’t think it’s just America his eugenics polemics have corrupted.
The report: Obama’s pragmatic & directive love of “The Choice.”
Under the Obama Planned Parenthood has increased the amount of aborted babies
Under Obama, at least two Latin American countries have had abortion legalized against the wishes of their people:
Click for the report:
Ecuador
Columbia
And I have been having difficulties finding info on the Planned Parenthood the Obama Administration installed in Mexico City. This is all I could find:
one picture of Planned Parenthood duping women into sterility in Mexico.
Is there any other evidence of this horrific travesty he has implemented?
What get’s me about the trick of getting women to get excited about sterility inducing contraceptives is that it is the same perverted routine of the molester who wants to triumph over the power of women. He tricks his victim into giving him her trust, then he uses that to enslave her and then routinely humiliate her into further obligations to his sick agenda-which is to, in the case of the abortifacent and the clinical abortion, literally suck the life out of her.
Planned Parenthood is a cult.
I sat there ashamed as the POTUS stood and openly promoted abortion on demand for any reason deceitfully calling it “reproductive and women’s health”. I am so ashamed that we have come to this, the murder of unborn babies is touted and celebrated at taxpayers expense by the president. If God does not pronounce his judgement on the USA he will have to not only have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah but to the worshipers of Molech who sacrificed their babies on that altar as well. God help this nation and this world.
John, I know what you mean about Joe Biden, but President Obama was nothing like that last night. He was Presidential. I would say he gave Romney more respect than he deserved. That man is a disgrace.
Well Hal, there are plenty of us here who think Obama is a disgrace.
It will be interesting to see what the polls say after this debate.
phillymiss, I’m well aware of the opinion of our President around here. I would think the polls will show some good news for Obama/Biden, but we’re getting close to election day, and then we’ll know for sure.
Hal,
Please give me an example of the explanation you will tell your girls for supporting Obama(abortion) when you know that population (ie. work force) will be at all time low levels just as national-debt levels peak.
Abortion is no more a necessary health care procedure than cosmetic surgery, in which they are similar in that the majority of abortion procedures are preformed electively for socio-economic reasons with confirmed cases preformed for rape/incest & life/health of the woman composing onot of less than 3%of total abortions preformed each year, creating the exception, not the rule!

Geez, I hate typing from my phone sometimes :P
John, I don’t think forcing young women (and older women) to continue pregnancies to term can be justified on the basis that “we want more children to grow up and pay taxes.” Those of us already here will have to deal with national debt problems.
Hal, for the umpteenth time, no one is “forcing” a woman to continue a pregnancy, pregnancy is a natural process that, if not interrupted, proceeds to birth and has done so for thousands of years.
except that outlawing abortion isn’t “forcing young women (and older women) to continue pregnancies to term”-since pregnancies are wont to continue to term on their own. The actual “force” involved in the abortion debate is the force it takes to prematurely stop a pregnancy by killing the child within.
Also, gestating children ARE “already here”. My uterus is not the portal to another dimension.
On the other hand, an induced abortion artificially intervenes & forcibly interrupts a pregnancy prematurely in order to “terminate” it. Get it now?
Real time fact checker/moderator Candy Crowley should have informed the viewing audience that PP does not do mammograms..
Hal, Obama’s constant sneering and dismissive attitude was Biden-lite. He probably wished that he was more like Biden, since he gave Biden high praise for his despicable performance. But it’s OK, because the polls showed that Mitt won on ALL the issues in last night’s debate, including the economy, which is the deciding factor in most elections. Obama will be back in Chicago doing his old job – arbitrarily accusing people of being racist to get his way – soon enough.
Hmm, I just realized that was a poor choice of words because one could then compare an abortion to a c-section or early induction of labor. Let me rephrase that:
On the other hand, an induced abortion artificially intervenes to forcibly interrupt the pregnancy and kill the developing human within in order to “terminate” it. Get it now?
I second xalisae’s point, there is already a developing human in existence in the woman’s uterus (just because it’s not visible to the naked eye doesn’t mean it’s not there, nor does it magically pop into existence at a subjective point in pregnancy) for without the developing human, you don’t have a (true) pregnancy, and that’s a matter of fact.
DEFUND!!!, can I get an Amen?
For those concerned about women’s health: Today’s Dear Abby had a letter writer who wants to get her son’s girlfriend to start wearing bras. Please write the columnist and say people should not be encouraging a practice that is contrary to women’s health. Our breasts should not be encased in cups and we should not have our chests and backs saddled with hooks and straps.
Is it possible to convince the public to prefer sex acts that can’t lead to pregnancy over those which can?
Lesbians can’t have this type of sex. Yet they don’t seem to be all that frustrated and dissatisfied.
Homosexual men can’t have this type of sex. They seem to find other things to do and don’t necessarily whine about lousy sex lives.
Should straights learn from this?
Women who aren’t pregnant don’t seek abortions.
Women who want to be pregnant don’t seek abortions.
Cut off demand and the business of the abortionists withers.
“Last night during his debate against Mitt Romney, Obama invoked his sacred cow, Planned Parenthood, five times:”
I would have guessed Candy Crowley was the amateur’s sacred cow.
Moderators,
Is our ‘CC‘ one and the same as ‘Candy Crowley’?
Watching Candy and her man last nite reminde me of Sammie Davis, Jr. singing one of his signature songs.
I will leave it up to someone more gifted than I do write another b o specific verse.
Candy’s Man
Who can take a sunrise, sprinkle it with dew
Cover it with choc’late and a miracle or two
Candy’s Man, oh yes Candy’s Man can
Candy’s Man can ’cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good
Who can take a rainbow, wrap it in a sigh
Soak it in the sun and make a groovy lemon pie
Cand’sy Man, Candy’s Man can
Candy’s Man can ’cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good
Candy’s Man makes everything he bakes satisfying and delicious
Now you talk about your childhood wishes, you can even eat the dishes
Oh, who can take tomorrow, dip it in a dream
Separate the sorrow and collect up all the cream
Candy’s Man, oh yeah Candy’s Man can
Candy’s Man can ’cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good
Candy’s Man makes everything he bakes satisfying and delicious
Talk about your childhood wishes, you can even eat the dishes
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Who can take tomorrow, dip it in a dream
Separate the sorrow and collect up all the cream
Candy’s Man, Candy’s Man can
Candy’s Man can ’cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good
Yes, Candy’s Man can ’cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good
Candy’s Man, Candy’s Man, Candy’s Man
Hal,
Thanks for answering: it is as I thought. When writing a law (except perhaps an ordinance) a concerted attempt is made to stabilize said law so it will apply in the future. The systematic killing of Jewish people during WWll has led to a relaxing of the anti-death impetus. Death is considered a natural consequence of life. This truism is accepted for ALL death, natural or human-made. There is an acceptance of the banality of life. There is then a hohum-ness about abortion (because these kids just do not account for much at all). When we chant ALL LIFE IS PRECIOUS, we are thought naive. IS anyone precious (even your two)
Our rears should not be encased in cotton and elastic our feet should not be saddled with socks and shoes. Our heads should not wear hats and our hands should not wear gloves or mittens.
Oh, this is more comfortable for you? Too bad.
It’s hard to take Obama’s pet concerns seriously. These same focus groups they pick that tell them PP is so important also seem to whine about having a “fair share.”
Are they kids worried about doling out candy? Well, maybe just a little older, wanting free contraceptives.

Hal,
Well, don’t stop there. Your Candy’s Man allows young and older women to change their mind after they have been delivered alive despite the abortion assassin’s best attempt at killing them en utero. Intellectually honest people recognize that barbarianism as ‘infanticide’.
If your going to adopt the utilitarian demonology no need to take half measures.
Permit parents to kill their kids anytime they have regrets about reproducing and then allow the children anytime they grow weary of providing for their parents after they have lived beyond their ‘productive years’.
The last thing I read about the national debt the estimate was the share for every person now living was about one hundred and forty thousand dollars.
[The pre-natal child is included included in ‘those of us now living’]
Math was never my strongest suit, but if I remember my division correctly the more people paying an equal share the smaller the share.
Now I am not advocating forcing anyone to reproduce just to pay down the debt.
That would just be the China one child policy in the reverse and then what is now called violating ‘reproductive rights’ in America would no longer be euphemism.
Assisted suicide aka active euthenasia will no longer be a ‘right’ it will be an oblilgation.
How long before you and/or your wifre reach your non-productive years and when your kids ‘off you’ how much of your estate are you willing to give to the federal government to pay your ever increasing share of the national debt?
Lesbians can’t have this type of sex. Yet they don’t seem to be all that frustrated and dissatisfied.
Ever heard of “Lesbian Bed Death”?
Ha! I just googled that. I’ve always kind of thought of homosexuality as “best friends gone terribly wrong.” ;)
Kind of like the late Sir John Gielgud and his companion of 50 years.
Is it an odd strategy (as in ineffective) for Obama to bring PP to the discussion when most PP fans are clearly in support of Obama but many of those undecided are moderate on the issue or not yet sold on Romney’s genuinely pro-life plans? What am I missing?
Ugh. My comment would have been better kept rattling around in my brain. I don’t worry much what people do as long as they don’t scare the horses, as they say.

(Denise) Yes, I have. This is a real problem in the lesbian community.
However, they don’t complain when they ARE sexually active that the acts are unsatisfying.
Couldn’t we use THIS FACT to decrease abortions?
You would think the man owns stock in them. He very well may the way he can’t stop talking about them. There is definitely something going on between the two!

DenseGnome,
Do you keep all your earthly possessions stored in Wal-Mart bags under the bridge?
Did you escape from the asylum or was your release due to a social promotion?
Does insanity run in your family or are you just an anomaly/aberation?
When the aliens abducted you did they release you out of frustration or revulsion?
Denise, please stop the bras cause breast cancer nonsense!
I want Planned Parenthood defunded. That would help SOME of our USA debt woes if their money was revoked and used for military defense or social security, etc. And before you say, “they do such great things”!…..There are thousands of Federally qualified health centers that provide comprehensive health care for women, men and children. And I bet they wouldn’t secretly put a 12 year old on the pill OR cover up sexual abuse!

(Denise) I don’t know that bras necessarily cause cancer. I do know that they are unhealthy. Why should women go around with straps and hooks on their skin? Why shouldn’t breasts move freely?
The bra custom is unhealthy.
Denise, Are you also against teen girls wearing bras while on their chaperoned dates?

Denise, Are you also against teen girls wearing bras while on their chaperoned dates?
(Denise) I think bras are generally harmful.
Denise – Bras make breasts less accessible, so I would think you would appreciate that aspect.
They also make physical activity more comfortable and even simply more possible for some. While I agree that they are stifling, uncomfortable, and rather unnatural, I am thankful for the invention.

(Denise) On rare occasions, I wear a bra. If I’m going to an event that is very formal and/or I want to display cleavage with a low-cut blouse, I wear a bra. The bra creates cleavage. In general, I think they should be avoided.
In the case of VERY large-breasted women, they might be necessary.
Regarding bras: It is perfectly OK to have a camisole underneath a shirt or blouse. It is also perfectly OK to wear a loose-fitting or thick shirt or blouse. I’m not suggesting girls and women should show off their breasts, only that they generally shouldn’t encase them in bras.
There is no contradiction between this and my advocacy of chaperoned dating, enforcement of statutory rape laws, and other measures to decrease destructive sexual activity.
I think in the case of large mammories, the bra helps with potential back problems, it’s like a structural support thing.
Big Bird. Bras. Anyone mentions athletic supporters and I’m outta here!
”Anyone mentions athletic supporters and I’m outta here!”
Ok, Hans just for you I will never, ever under any circumstances mention athletic supporters. Oops, does that mention count?
Hans – I have to admit that I support athletics.
