Very important celebs urge Obama FORWARD on “reproductive rights”

Standing in the way of access to emergency contraception? Seriously, Mr. President? What’s up with that? You gotta be kidding me. That needs a hashtag. Mr. President, we have drawn the line against these relentless assaults against reproductive rights. We need Congress to act now to stop the attacks and protect our rights and our […]

  • John Londregan on the “birther” myth:

It is past time we abandoned the “birther” myth that we are transformed magically through the process of birth from being tumorous growths within our mothers into fully human infants. The uncivilized confusion on the part of abortion advocates about whether newborns are fetuses or infants highlights the artificial nature of making birth the definition of humanity.

Pro-life vid of day: Megyn Kelly excoriates Gosnell attorney

by Laura Loo Megyn Kelly grew heated during a segment on Wednesday afternoon when she interviewed Jack McMahon, the attorney for Kermit Gosnell, the abortion doctor convicted of murdering babies who were born alive following botched abortions. As McMahon denied many aspects of the case, Kelly expressed disgust at McMahon’s characterization of Gosnell as a […]

Lopez: The soul of our nation depends on ability to “nourish life”

Kathryn_Jean_Lopez_by_Gage_SkidmoreThe frightened teenage girl. The single inner-city mom who has made some bad choices and doesn’t quite know what she can do. The 20-something on a career track whose boyfriend is not up to the task of fatherhood. The busy young couple that determines it is not the right time. These are all real scenarios, involving real fears, influenced deeply by a culture that pretends abortion is a quick fix, a solution to a problem.

The health of not just our citizens but our national soul demands that we do a better job, that we work hard to foster and nourish life, both in the womb and outside of it. It’s the only way to ensure a society that lives up to the ideals it was founded upon….

  • A pro-life protest featuring Abby Johnson and a pro-abortion counter protest in New Orleans received some local media coverage. Planned Parenthood is planning on building a large 7,000 sq. ft. abortion clinic on an empty lot.

Devout Muslim woman defends her decision to have an abortion

In beginning to consider an abortion, I looked first to the law. Islamic law makes allowances for abortion up to 16 weeks into the pregnancy (and beyond when the mother’s life is at risk). The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, “Verily, each of you is gathered together in his mother’s womb for forty days, in the […]
