Rush Limbaugh: Democrats need amnesty because of abortion
We have 52 million fewer people paying taxes. We gotta replace ’em. Hello amnesty. The Democrat Party needs a permanent underclass in order to keep themselves alive as Santa Claus, to keep winning elections and stay in power.
But Washington overall, much as they hate people, much as they hate their base, much as they hate the middle class, they still need people working and paying taxes, regardless how many people are gonna be paying a lot or a little. The illegals income levels might be such they wouldn’t be paying much, but it’s better than nothing.
So one of the reasons for amnesty is to replace the 52 million people aborted.
~ Talk radio host Rush Limbaugh lamenting how abortion is “the root of our cultural rot and decay”, including the push for amnesty, June 14

Jeb Bush hinted as much the other day pointing out that immigrants are more fertile than current U.S. residents. Abortion supporters are those most likely to abort their children, which puts a damper on their activism since what your parents believe is still most likely to determine what you believe. Social welfare and now health insurance rely on younger productive people paying for the programs, but once you have an inverse population profile you run out of welfare money to run the programs as promised and the ability to adequately bribe voters with handouts taken from the opposition. Europe is already ahead of us on the curve, except many of their immigrants are Muslim and hostile to their secularized culture, and even when they are not they are still prone to civil unrest like Sweden has discovered lately. Our immigrants generally share our culture, so it hasn’t been as much of an issue for us yet. Hopefully abortion does not metastasize to the rest of the Americas, although abortion advocates are certainly trying. They do not realize however their population control efforts are self-defeating in the long-term, as we and Europe are discovering, as Korea and Japan already have and China will very soon.
Of course, haters will discount this because “Rush said it.” They won’t even have to read it first, to see what it says.
1) Abortion and contraception have reduced our natural population by quite a bit more than 50+ million. We decided that kids are not good or necessary.
2) We have to let all of those immigrants cross our borders because we need a population of workers to sustain our economy. We let them in illegally because it is easier to exploit them that way.
3) We owe a duty of justice to these workers and families. Some sort of amnesty would be good… We have already let them in. Now we let them apply for legal status. This will be an effective way of sorting out the good, working families from the criminally minded villains.
4) Yes, the Democrats would benefit from this legal, voting demographic. But the Hispanic community are ardently pro-life and pro-family, and so the establishment Democrats fear them.
As a result, most Democrats are pro-immigration the way that most Republicans are pro-life: Willing to talk about it during election cycles, accepting money and endorsements — but not really anxious to do anything about it.
I know many pro-lifers dislike Rush. The portion of his statement above makes him sound solely pragmatic. In the full monologue, his love for the unborn comes through. That’s what has kept me listening to him for 21 years.
“Jeb Bush hinted as much the other day pointing out that immigrants are more fertile than current U.S. residents” – yes, and wasn’t Sarah Palin pleased! Not.
“They won’t even have to read it first, to see what it says.” – I do, Wouldn’t want to miss the laugh.
“the Hispanic community are ardently pro-life and pro-family” – I hate to disappoint you…
“and so the establishment Democrats fear them” – have you seen those voting trends?
No doubt abortion is the root of our cultural decay, but he’s giving democrats too much credit with this. They aren’t capable of that type of pragmatism. What do you think they’d be saying about a poor hispanic woman facing a pregnancy? “Have the baby – your fertility is good for our economy and people are our greatest resource” or “it’s much cheaper to abort than to support a family on welfare.” I think we already know the answer to that.

It is true that his prolife convictions are genuine. That is one of the main reasons the left hates him. But the left is not honest enough to say that is why they hate him. They huff and puff in condescending tones against Rush as though he is an imbecile that is wrong about everything, but the funny thing is that it is the libs who are the ones that are the real intellectual deadbeats.
